MP Dean Allison
0:00 friends and neighbours. 0:02 Their experiences deserve to be documented, examined and understood. 0:06 Good public policy depends on public trust. 0:09 Trust is strengthened when governments and institutions are willing to ask difficult questions, follow the evidence wherever it leads and acknowledge when people have been harmed. 0:19 My position remains simple. 0:21 Compassion for those who suffered from COVID-19, compassion for those who were by constituents looking for answers and looking to be heard. 0:29 That is why emails have now been sent to every member of Parliament, inviting them to engage with this process, informing them of the opportunity for their constituents to participate. 0:40 If you are someone who believes you or a loved one suffered a vaccine injury, I encourage you to reach out to your local member of Parliament. 0:47 We invite MPs from all parties to come to the hearings, whether for an afternoon, a day or the entire week. 0:52 This should not be a partisan issue. 0:55 It's about listening to Canadians. 0:57 Today, I want to highlight once again why these stories matter. 1:01 This is not about relitigating every decision made during the unprecedented public health crisis. 1:06 It's not about assigning blame. 1:08 It's about listening. 1:09 It's about learning. 1:11 It's about ensuring that when Canadians face the next public health emergency, we're better prepared because we have the courage 1:18 and the honesty to examine experiences of Canadians. 1:22 Canadians deserve transparency. 1:24 Canadians deserve accountability. 1:27 And above all, Canadians deserve to know that their experiences matter. 1:31 The stories that will be shared during the Allison Inquiry are a reminder that behind every statistic is a human being. 1:39 Many have suffered in silence, their voices deserve to be heard, and their country should be willing to listen. 1:46 If you believe you or someone you know has been affected, we encourage you to share your story. 1:52 Whether you wish to testify publicly or simply submit your experience privately, we want to hear from you. 1:59 Please visit theallisoninquiry.com and complete the submission form. 2:04 Thank you very much for being with us today. Michelle Worton
2:20 We thank MP Dean Allison, Sean, and Teresa Buckley for their courage and their leadership. 2:54 My name is Michelle Worton. 3:00 And I am one of the thousands of Canadians who have experienced an adverse event following a COVID-19 vaccine. 3:14 And I'm also one of the co-founders of CanRise19. 3:19 a scientific-based nonprofit organization founded to support injured Canadians. 3:27 I was a thriving, vibrant healthcare professional, strong, healthy, and living my life to the fullest. 3:34 For more than 20 years, I served my community. 3:39 I built my own dental practice from the ground up and spent my personal time hiking and tour skiing in the mountains with my family. 3:48 I had no pre-existing medical conditions. 3:52 Everything changed in the late fall of 2021. 3:56 My life, as I knew it, changed rapidly. 4:11 My health vanished. 4:14 I experienced an adverse reaction following the COVID-19 vaccine. 4:19 Within one hour of my first dose, I experienced elevated heart rate, rapid fluctuations in heart rate and blood pressure, shortness of breath, tightness in my chest, and a general feeling of being unwell. 4:33 Receiving these injections was not an action I took lightly, and sadly, true informed consent and bodily autonomy were not upheld, the very foundation of ethical practice. 4:46 Within 48 hours of my second dose, I experienced a rapid and severe onset of neurological and systemic symptoms, including blurred tunnel and double vision, burning sensations in my legs, urinary incontinence, tinnitus, dizziness, vertigo with rapid heart rate, blood pressure instability, chest tightness returning, and many additional symptoms that followed. 5:13 My health declined significantly and has continued to deteriorate over time. 5:24 I now live with much uncertainty of my future. 5:46 As a result of my vaccine injury, I was forced into medical retirement at just 46 years old. 5:55 A career that I loved ended abruptly with no opportunity to choose when or how it would end. 6:02 These conditions are dynamic, they're evolving, and they're not well understood. 6:06 This journey ultimately led me to the United States in 2023 and again in 2024 in search of private medical care, specialized diagnostics, selling my dental practice, crowdfunding, and eventually brain surgery. 6:25 with a biopsy to relieve brain compression. 6:30 $148,000 for the brain surgery alone. 6:38 No one in Canada would help me. 6:41 They would see the onset of my injury and reject the referrals. 6:44 Since then, I've been diagnosed with numerous neurological and immune-mediated conditions, and it would take years of self-advocacy to be seen. 6:55 These conditions continue to progress rapidly as they do for many Canadians across this country. 7:00 And without early recognition in medical care, the prognosis is poor. 7:06 We are still living with the consequences of the past six years. 7:10 The exhaustion, the division, the distressed, the damage that never truly healed. 7:16 There has been no acknowledgement, no meaningful support, no medical care where promised, no accountability. 7:24 A society that refuses to learn from its past eventually relives what it failed to confront. 7:32 I live with vision loss, nerve damage, loss of feelings throughout my face and my limbs, and ongoing white matter brain lesions. 7:41 I experience difficulty maintaining upright position, balance impairment, and relentless neurological pain. 7:49 Sharp electric shocks, burning sensations, zapping, pain, numbness occur every single minute of every single day for five years. 8:02 Brain inflammation, all due to an immune response that has never resolved. 8:07 Ongoing cystic masses in multiple organs, including my brain. 8:11 I spend 90% of my life homebound, bedbound. 8:21 No family should ever have to carry the burden after trusting and receiving a Health Canada approved medical product. 8:41 We have been left behind. 8:43 We've been disregarded. 8:45 This injury stole my independence, my quality of life, time we can never get back, and replaced it with uncertainty and loss. 8:56 My faith, God, and my family have carried me through. 9:01 And today, I'm still fighting to access health care in Canada. 9:05 I'm still pleading for treatment. 9:08 But my story is not unique. 9:12 Today, I'm not here. 9:15 Simply to share my story, I'm here on behalf of the vaccine injured community at CanRise19 and the countless Canadians suffering in silence. 9:25 CanRise19 provides peer support groups, scientific resources, advocacy, emotional support, literature, and a developing medical care fund pending charitable status to assist Canadians in accessing medical care where the government supports have failed. 9:41 For years, stigma, dismissal, 9:45 Pain and censorship left many of us feeling completely alone. 9:56 My co-founder and I, Julie Woods, found one another. 10:03 Through adversity, pain, isolation, censorship, and abandonment, 10:09 CanRise19 was founded. 10:12 We hear the cries of the injured, and we would not be able to support injured Canadians with the help of our incredible volunteers. 10:19 If you have experienced an adverse reaction, if you are bereaved, if you've lost a loved one, or if you're caring for someone who's suffering, please reach out. 10:29 There is urgency. 10:32 The cost cannot be measured only in terms of medical ailments. 10:37 This injury robs you of the life you once dreamed of. 10:50 It tears your body apart cell by cell, and it does not stop with the injured. 11:01 Our spouses, our children, our parents, our families, our loved ones, they carry these wounds alongside us. 11:13 Without acknowledgement, there is no pathway to care. 11:19 Five years, half a decade, we've waited. 11:26 While our health declined, the systems meant to protect us looked away. 11:31 For many like myself, we want to share our stories while we still have the health and the strength to do so. 11:36 Many are becoming less able to participate in advocacy efforts. 11:47 We have encountered profound systemic gaps between adverse event reporting, ongoing safety surveillance and support. 11:54 This is vital to provide informed decision-making and recovery. 11:59 Many have experienced fragmented care, financial hardship, dismissal, medical gaslighting, and even ridicule. 12:08 And I can attest to this personally. 12:11 I've experienced it all. 12:14 And this isn't just about being vaccine injured. 12:17 It's about what happens after you experience an adverse event. 12:22 And Canadians need to be aware. 12:26 The Vaccine Impact Assistance Program, formerly known as VISP, was intended to serve as a safeguard for Canadians harmed following vaccination. 12:34 Instead, Canadians, including myself, have found ourselves trapped in a bureaucratic system that has failed to speak openly about MAID because it's the only health care they're offered. 12:48 And it's being pushed on many. 12:51 I've held these conversations. 12:54 I've encouraged injured to just hold on. 13:09 We are the quiet truth. 13:12 No one wants to say it loud. 13:16 We are the voices too often pushed into the silence and inside the fight never stops. 13:22 The struggle to fight for care within a broken medical system, the exhaustion that's settled over our family. 13:28 Throughout the past five years, hope has remained. 13:32 I continue to pray for our injured community in Canada and around the world. 13:38 We cannot give way to despair. 13:41 This is press speech erodes the very fabric of a democratic society, and it does not restore public trust. 13:52 The Alison Inquiry will provide injured Canadians with the opportunity to share their stories, to have our voices heard by members of parliament. 14:00 And for many, this will be the first time. 14:04 Our hope is that those voices will lead to meaningful change, 14:08 better diagnostics, research, treatment, support, and restored trust in our government agencies. 14:16 Understanding that living with a vaccine injury is one of the most inhumane experiences imaginable. 14:24 Many of us are trapped inside bodies we no longer recognize. 14:30 You cannot treat what you refuse to acknowledge. 14:35 The time is now. 14:38 Because every day without action has a human cost. 14:41 Every delay means more suffering. 14:44 Every unanswered question means another Canadian is left behind. 14:48 And remember that behind every statistic is a human being, a mother, a father, a child, a spouse, family whose lives have been forever changed. 15:04 And it could have been you. 15:09 We cannot recover the years we've lost, but together we can help ensure that no one else loses theirs. 15:17 And behind every story is a Canadian who deserves dignity, compassion, and care. 15:25 But it starts with listening. 15:28 Thank you. Theresa Buckley
15:47 Thank you, Michelle. 15:51 I think the country needs to take a little breath now. 15:56 My name is Theresa Buckley, and I'm a volunteer with the Ellison Inquiry. 16:04 As MP Dean Ellison mentioned, we want to encourage all Canadians and all COVID-19 vaccine injured 16:16 persons across the country to contact their members of Parliament and ask for their presence at the Alison inquiry on September 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th. 16:32 We want elected representatives to listen to the stories and to their constituents who are suffering. 16:44 As we spoke of last month, the silence is now broken. 16:53 There comes a time where we're all faced with an inflection point in our lives, and we have to decide what type of people we want to be. 17:03 We want all of the members of Parliament to understand that this is actually a point for them. 17:10 This is an inflection point in their humanity. 17:16 Are they prepared to listen? 17:18 All we want is for them to listen to stories such as Michelle's. 17:33 We've established on our website very simple methods of contacting your members of parliament. 17:41 please go to allisoninquiry.com and you'll be able to look at different ways where you can phone, you can email, you can write letters, you can visit them in person. 17:56 This is a nonpartisan event. 17:59 This is not political. 18:02 The injuries suffering by probably hundreds of thousands of Canadians is not a political event. 18:12 This is life. 18:18 Go to our website as well and print out our posters, our cards. 18:24 We want these distributed across Canada. 18:28 Put them in the grocery store, put them in your shopping malls, and give them to your doctors. 18:34 They need to understand that the time for silence is over. 18:43 Canadian that's not sure if you can do this, not sure if you can contact your MP, we would just encourage you to have courage. 18:56 If you're a vaccine-injured Canadian, and if you're unsure whether or not to speak with your MP, whether or not he's going to listen, we ask you to have courage. 19:09 If you're a Member of Parliament, 19:12 or a person from the public sector. 19:14 And if you're vaccine injured, if you're vaccine injured, we want to hear your story. 19:24 If you've lost people that have died as a result of the COVID-19 vaccine, we want to hear your story. 19:35 Michelle traveled over 4,000 kilometers yesterday. 19:41 by yourself on a plane without aid. MP Dean Allison
19:53 Okay, welcome back to this afternoon. 19:55 We're going to continue along, and we are so privileged to be able to hear from some of our injured people, and I'm going to just turn it over to Sean as he sets up what we're going to look at next. Shawn Buckley
20:10 Thank you. 20:11 Our next witness is Kerry Lynn Sakamoto. 20:14 Kerry, welcome to the Allison Inquiry. 20:18 You were our very first vaccine injured witness. 20:22 We're very pleased to have you. 20:23 Can you take the Bible in your right hand? 20:29 And Kerry, do you swear to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, so help you God? 20:35 Please be seated. 20:41 So I wanted, before we begin, I'm going to go through somewhat of your history, but I wanted to ask you why it was important to come here and testify. Carrie Sakamoto
20:58 It's a space for us to talk about what's happened. 21:01 We're censored online for saying words like COVID vaccine, COVID vaccine injury. 21:09 So being able to put this on public record and to be able to talk here today where there's live streaming is really important to me. Shawn Buckley
21:20 Now I'm going to lead you a little bit. 21:22 You have been clearly diagnosed as vaccine injured and even the Vaccine Injury Support Program agrees that you're vaccine injured and you did not have COVID before you were vaccine injured. 21:34 Is that all of that right? Carrie Sakamoto
21:37 Yes, that's correct. Shawn Buckley
21:39 Can you share with us kind of what your life was like and what your health was like before you took the vaccines? Carrie Sakamoto
21:48 Yeah, I was living on an acreage. 21:51 We owned an acreage just outside of Lethbridge. 21:55 And I have three children that... 22:00 I was raising at home. 22:01 My husband was working out of the home. 22:04 And we were also starting, we had just started a seed business. 22:10 So we had 28 acres. 22:12 And we were just working away. 22:14 We had that farm for 15 years when I got injured. Shawn Buckley
22:19 Right. 22:20 So, you know, you're a vibrant young mother. 22:22 You've got an acreage and a seed farm. 22:24 You're pretty busy. Shawn Buckley
22:27 Any health concerns before? Shawn Buckley
22:30 So I'm just going to, we're just going to pull up two photos. 22:34 I want everyone to have, you know, a look at, of you before vaccine injuries. 22:38 So David, can we pull that up? 22:40 So can you tell us about this first photo? Carrie Sakamoto
22:45 Yeah, that's what I used to look like. 22:49 And it feels like forever ago since I was that person. 22:56 It completely changed me. 22:58 Not just the way I look. Shawn Buckley
23:01 And it's changed how people react to you also, right? Carrie Sakamoto
23:05 Yes. 23:06 And it's changed my way of thinking. Shawn Buckley
23:10 Can you share a little bit about that? Carrie Sakamoto
23:14 I feel abandoned from the government that said they were going to be here for us. 23:24 We were told that if we did this, things could go back to normal again. 23:32 we were told that we wouldn't be able to do things if we didn't get it. 23:38 And I'm sorry, I have short-term memory loss and I forget what you asked me. Shawn Buckley
23:43 No, no trouble at all. 23:45 So can we go to the next photo, please? 23:54 And this is just another photo of when you were healthy and these are your three boys and your husbands. 24:01 And is this photo on your acreage? Shawn Buckley
24:05 Okay. 24:06 So can you tell us then what happened? 24:10 My understanding is on April 1st, 2024, you had your first shot, which was AstraZeneca. 24:18 And that was, can you tell us about that one? Carrie Sakamoto
24:22 So I had my, yes, I had my first vaccine in April of 2021. 24:26 I chose AstraZeneca. 24:28 I had 24:32 received the flu shot probably a few years before that. 24:38 And I also had all my childhood vaccines. 24:42 So I chose to get that one in particular just because it was closest to the flu vaccine from what I was told. 24:56 And that's how I chose AstraZeneca. Shawn Buckley
24:58 Okay. 24:59 And then on June 18th, 2021, you got a second shot, which was Pfizer. 25:04 Can you tell us, did anything happen that day? Carrie Sakamoto
25:08 I got sick right away. 25:10 And it was flu symptoms. 25:13 And it was a lot of the same symptoms that my husband was having, who had the vaccine at the same time and the same one. 25:20 So I wasn't too concerned at first. 25:24 From what I had been hearing on the news, there were side effects such as rash, fever. 25:33 There wasn't many. 25:34 I went back and looked at my list on the sheet that I signed and it was just flu symptoms basically and rashes. 25:45 I didn't really think much of it until about the seventh or eighth day of having it and my husband was 25:54 getting better. 25:55 He was feeling much better. 25:57 And I got worse, progressively worse. Shawn Buckley
26:02 What was happening? Carrie Sakamoto
26:04 My lymph nodes on the right side of my neck swelled up. 26:09 And I had a really high fever. 26:12 I wanted to go to the doctor, but because of COVID restrictions, and I had a fever, they wouldn't see me in person. 26:20 So I had to do a telephone call with my 26:24 GP at the time. 26:26 She prescribed me some antibiotics because over the phone she diagnosed me with tonsil stones. 26:36 She said it was likely from the fever that I had been having. 26:40 She said if it didn't change after taking the medication to call her back and they would do something else. Shawn Buckley
26:49 Now the next morning there was something new that was happening. 26:52 Can you share that with us? Carrie Sakamoto
26:54 Yes, I started getting pain in my brain and it was extreme pain. 27:00 And it was so bad that I call it fire in my brain. 27:04 I have it to this day. 27:08 It was so bad at first. 27:11 I was vomiting a lot. 27:12 And that was the main reason I went to the hospital at the time. 27:17 When I got to the hospital in emergency, they thought I... Can I just slow you down? Shawn Buckley
27:23 Yes. 27:23 So you're talking about this burning in your brain, and there's a couple of things. 27:27 So you actually still have pain in your brain? Carrie Sakamoto
27:30 Yes. 27:31 To this day, I take medication for it, which is causing my memory loss. Shawn Buckley
27:36 Okay. 27:37 So how strong was this pain? 27:41 Is there any other way you can describe it for us? Carrie Sakamoto
27:43 Fire. 27:44 It just feels like my brain is on fire. 27:48 Most people, you think about your brain, it's in your head, but when it's hurting, you can feel where it is. 27:54 And I could feel my brain. 27:56 And the pain is, it's just a really strong burning sensation. 28:02 And it's all over my head. Shawn Buckley
28:06 Okay. 28:06 And you're vomiting also? Carrie Sakamoto
28:09 Yes. 28:10 Yeah, I was very sick. 28:12 I couldn't handle the pain. 28:15 When I went back to the hospital, or when I went to the hospital, they thought I was having migraines. 28:21 And so they gave me some medication for migraines and IV fluids and something to calm my stomach and sent me home. Shawn Buckley
28:34 Okay, but you didn't end up staying at home for long, did you? 28:38 Can you share what happened? Carrie Sakamoto
28:39 As soon as the medications wore off, I was in the exact same position I had been in. 28:44 At this point, I'd lost a lot of weight because I hadn't been eating and then I was getting sick all the time. 28:52 So we went, I'm sorry, I forget. Shawn Buckley
28:56 Oh, no, it's perfectly okay. 28:58 So I was just talking, you were telling us that you had gone to the hospital and they thought it was a migraine. 29:04 And so they gave you, you know, a migraine medication and I think a painkiller, I'm extrapolating. 29:10 And then you went home. 29:12 And I was asking really what happened after that. Carrie Sakamoto
29:16 Yes, the medications were off and I was sick again, right back where I was. 29:20 And so we went back to the hospital and it was on that trip back to the hospital that my face felt like it was swelling up. 29:30 And so I was looking in the side mirror of our car and I could see that my face had dropped, this whole side of my face. 29:42 I thought I was having a stroke. Shawn Buckley
29:45 Right. 29:45 But at the hospital, they tell you it's Bell's palsy. Shawn Buckley
29:50 And what happens next? Carrie Sakamoto
29:54 They sent me home again. 29:57 They said that the hospital was full of COVID patients, and because of restrictions, they were only taking emergencies. 30:06 And so they said that this would probably correct itself. 30:12 They gave me some steroids and sent me home. 30:17 They said if anything changed, to come back again. Shawn Buckley
30:21 And it changed really quickly, didn't it? Carrie Sakamoto
30:24 Yes, again, as soon as the medications that they were giving me wore off, I was throwing up, the burning in my brain, and now I had half of my face was paralyzed, my eye was paralyzed open, so I had to patch it. 30:44 I was experiencing some hearing loss and balance issues. Shawn Buckley
30:51 Great, so basically you were losing your ability to walk for a while? Carrie Sakamoto
30:56 I didn't know. 30:57 It was more strength. 30:58 I had no strength. 31:01 So we went back to the hospital. 31:04 I was experiencing numbness on the left side of my face, and I was worried that it was going to spread to my eye and I wouldn't be able to see. Shawn Buckley
31:14 Okay. 31:15 And then also my understanding is you lost the ability to swallow. 31:20 You had to learn to chew your food again and how to swallow again? Carrie Sakamoto
31:24 Yeah, I had lost a lot of weight and they were really concerned because this paralyzation comes down my throat and actually to about here in my shoulder and my back. 31:39 I'm sorry. Shawn Buckley
31:43 Oh, no, you're doing really good. 31:44 I'm just going to ask David if he can pull up the next photo. Carrie Sakamoto
31:49 I was going to say, I'm sorry, that I was put on feeding tubes because, yes, I couldn't chew my food and swallow. 31:56 I had to learn how to do that again. Shawn Buckley
31:58 Right. 31:58 And you were in the hospital, I think, for 17 days. Shawn Buckley
32:02 Now, David's pulled up a photo here. 32:04 Can you tell us what that photo shows? Carrie Sakamoto
32:08 That photo shows when my eye was still paralyzed open. 32:12 And that's an infection that I get quite often. 32:17 That one was particularly bad. 32:19 You can see the bubble underneath. 32:22 And you can see all the redness around my eye where I had to put the patch on and off several times a day, which is like a band-aid. 32:29 So you're ripping the skin around your eye. 32:32 Because I had to constantly be putting gel in my eye so it wouldn't dry out and lose my eye. Shawn Buckley
32:38 She basically couldn't close her eye? Carrie Sakamoto
32:40 I couldn't close my eye, correct. Shawn Buckley
32:42 And that's still an ongoing problem, right? Carrie Sakamoto
32:44 So now I have a condition... 32:47 called synkinesis. 32:49 It's healed back wrong. 32:51 All the nerves are connected wrong. 32:53 So I have pulling in my face and my eye droops and it just kind of does what it wants. 33:00 I can't, I have a blurry and double vision out of that eye. 33:04 I do wear glasses that help with light sensitivity, but for today, I'm not going to wear them. Shawn Buckley
33:13 And my understanding is as 33:15 part of that synchronicity. 33:18 Your face feels like it's getting pulled, right? Carrie Sakamoto
33:20 Yes, it's constant pulling and cramping. 33:22 It's very painful. 33:24 And the more I talk, the worse it gets. Shawn Buckley
33:27 Well, we certainly appreciate you sharing with us. 33:29 David, can you go to the next picture, please? 33:32 So can you share with us what this is a picture of? Carrie Sakamoto
33:35 That was, I think that was the first day my mom was able to come up and see me, and she had brought some things, some pajamas and stuff for me from her friends, actually, that were well-wishing me. Shawn Buckley
33:48 And is the tube in your nose then a feeding tube because you can't swallow? Shawn Buckley
33:53 And your eye is patched because you can't close your eye? Carrie Sakamoto
33:57 Correct. Shawn Buckley
33:58 Okay. 33:58 David, can you go to the next photo? 34:02 And this is you being on the day you're discharged from the hospital or not? Carrie Sakamoto
34:06 No, that was actually the first time I was able to leave my room. 34:11 My husband put me in a wheelchair and we were able to go outside, which was also the first time I was able to see my children. 34:18 They were not allowed in the hospital because of COVID restrictions. Shawn Buckley
34:22 Okay. 34:23 So you've shared with us, like for today, you still have that burning in your brain. 34:28 You also shared that you have some memory loss. 34:31 Can you share with us kind of how that affects you day to day? Carrie Sakamoto
34:36 The memory loss is really bad. 34:40 It seems to be getting worse. 34:42 My doctors have said that it is medication related, they believe, but I haven't been able to go off of the medication to be able to tell. 34:55 They did some tests on me because I noticed that I was leaving things on. 35:01 I couldn't remember certain things, really important events in my life that I should know. 35:06 So I went to my GP and they did some testing and I tested as early onset Alzheimer's. 35:18 They told me that it is medication related. Shawn Buckley
35:23 Right. 35:23 So this is medication that you're taking because of the burning in your brain and it keeps the pain down. Shawn Buckley
35:30 And you can't go, you've been told you can't go off that medication or you'll die. 35:34 Am I right about that? Carrie Sakamoto
35:35 I don't die, but I end up right back where I am. 35:38 Very sick. 35:39 Very sick. Shawn Buckley
35:40 Right. 35:40 But at the same time, the medication that you rely on is affecting your memory. Carrie Sakamoto
35:45 I'm having a side effect from the side effects of the medication. Shawn Buckley
35:51 And then you also have vertigo. Carrie Sakamoto
35:54 Yes, I have two types of vertigo. MP Dean Allison
35:57 What's been the worst, most difficult part of this? Carrie Sakamoto
36:05 For me, it's different than a lot of people because my doctors were the ones who told me this was a vaccine injury. 36:15 So I've had doctors on my side the whole time encouraging me. 36:18 At the same time, they don't know how to treat me 36:25 because it's new and it's hard to talk about. 36:30 They say this is a Bell's palsy-like because it's caused from this particular vaccine. 36:38 And I'm sorry, I forget the question. Shawn Buckley
36:42 Oh, you did good, I know. 36:43 Thank you. MP Dean Allison
36:46 I'm going to ask a question. 36:48 My colleague Mike asked one first. 36:50 I just want to thank you again, Kerry, for coming and sharing with us your story. 36:54 I mean, you know, 36:55 I understand vaccine-injured people need to relive and re-traumatize, but we appreciate you sharing so that the rest of the world can understand. 37:05 And I'll ask a question after Mike goes. 37:08 Thanks, Dean. MP Mike Dawson
37:13 Thanks for being here and telling your story. 37:17 I can kind of relate a little to when you first started telling your story about you got the vaccine. 37:23 Your lymph nodes started swelling up. 37:25 I got three vaccines. 37:28 If I could go back, I wouldn't have got any. 37:31 But when I got the second one, I got a lump under my arm the size of a softball. 37:39 And when I went to the pharmacist that gave me the vaccine, they told me that there was nothing wrong. 37:45 It would go away. 37:47 And luckily it did. 37:48 It did go away in two or three days and I had no other symptoms. 37:51 I did have a high temperature and 37:54 But that was it. 37:58 How's your health been? 38:01 Has it been steadily the same or has it been since you would get out of the hospital? 38:06 Has it gone up or down or does it periodically change? Carrie Sakamoto
38:10 I've gotten stronger, but the symptoms are the same as day one. 38:17 The memory loss is the hardest one right now for me. MP Mike Dawson
38:24 And are the doctors saying that there's anything they can do? Carrie Sakamoto
38:28 No. 38:28 And the vertigo, they've also tried everything. 38:33 There's no more medications for me to try. MP Mike Dawson
38:37 Have you gotten any access from the support program at all? Carrie Sakamoto
38:40 Yes. 38:42 I'm one of the 0.01% people, but not because I got a vaccine injury, but because I received a partial payout from the vaccine injury program. 38:55 There's not many of us. MP Mike Dawson
38:58 Are there any restrictions with the payout? Carrie Sakamoto
39:02 So I'm still in appeals. 39:04 They approved my vaccine injury, but they denied all my medications, all my therapies, my hearing aid, my glasses. 39:17 So that's all been out of pocket. 39:21 I have to see a psychologist, and that's also out of pocket. 39:26 I started a Give, Send, Go, and that has been a real blessing. 39:31 The kindness of strangers, I've been able to at least keep my medicine going. 39:40 Therapies have stopped. MP Mike Dawson
39:42 How long has the appeal process been ongoing? 39:44 So now I've had nine case managers from 2001 to 2023 when I received a partial payout. Carrie Sakamoto
39:47 Because they didn't approve my medications and therapies and they also 40:10 didn't evaluate my brain. 40:14 They put me in appeals and now it's under a new program. 40:19 I've been told that there's nothing else I need to do, that they're at the end of it. 40:28 I don't have a lot of faith in them. 40:29 They denied my therapies saying that I had Botox done with great success. 40:38 I sent in letters to the contrary. 40:41 I was advised not to get Botox. 40:45 The program has been awful. 40:49 For people who are injured, they can't get the help they need. 40:53 And we're just looking for medical help. 40:57 We just want help with our health. MP Mike Dawson
41:00 How have the doctors been in the whole process? Carrie Sakamoto
41:03 My doctors have been excellent. MP Mike Dawson
41:05 Fully supportive? Carrie Sakamoto
41:06 Yes. 41:07 but that's because I was diagnosed in the hospital. 41:10 I didn't realize how important that would be that my doctor reported my injury as a vaccine injury to Ottawa. 41:19 But even with that, I sit here five years later and I'm still in the program for no reason. 41:25 They've wasted millions of dollars when they could have been helping people like me. MP Mike Dawson
41:30 What does your doctor say about you? Carrie Sakamoto
41:32 My doctors are very disappointed in the program. 41:36 My pharmacists are very disappointed in the program. 41:40 They see me coming in and getting the medications every week. 41:44 It's been the same medications for five years that I wasn't taking before I was in the hospital. 41:53 They see how frustrated I am, and they're equally as frustrated. MP Mike Dawson
41:58 Well, I think everybody sitting here is frustrated, and I personally think it's a travesty that you're not getting Carrie Sakamoto
42:04 Thank you for being here and listening. MP Dean Allison
42:06 No problem. 42:08 Thanks, Carrie. 42:09 I got a couple of questions. 42:10 You have a young family. 42:12 So you've talked about your personal injuries. 42:14 How has it affected your family? Carrie Sakamoto
42:16 It's been devastating. 42:18 Not only did we have to sell everything, uproot my family in a home that we always called our forever home and had to explain to the kids that we just can't stay here anymore was really difficult. 42:32 We had to uproot them and move them 42:35 to into town. 42:38 My youngest never went back to school. 42:40 We still do homeschool. 42:41 He's in grade 11 now. 42:44 He suffers with severe migraines. 42:47 He also had Pfizer. 42:50 My mother got a booster. 42:54 She developed turbo cancer and died a year into my injury. 43:00 She was diagnosed with cancer 43:03 shortly after she got shingles from her booster, and she died before she saw her first oncologist. MP Dean Allison
43:13 You talked about additional costs, and we understand we have OHIP in Ontario and you've got BC, but I'm not going to guess that there's a lot of costs in medicine that just are not covered by the province, which I'm here to share. 43:28 you know, what you're out of pocket or what you got to deal with or what you got to try and figure out in terms of additional drugs that may not be covered? Carrie Sakamoto
43:39 You know, we just kind of hope and pray every month that it's going to happen, that it will have enough to cover everything. 43:46 And so far it's happened. 43:48 Again, the gives and goes have been amazing. 43:53 I did go to social media to tell my story. 43:58 In the beginning, I went to social media because I wanted the doctors to know what was happening. 44:05 I wanted them to be able to diagnose people when they walked into the hospital instead of being sent home three times like I was. 44:13 I wanted better care for people because I understood how scary and life-changing that these injuries can be. 44:22 I did a little bit of research. 44:24 I hear people talking all the time about... 44:28 us being anti-vax when it couldn't be further from the truth? 44:33 Not only did we take a vaccine, but we're relying on science to help us heal. MP Dean Allison
44:43 So is it fair to say then that the cost of healing or trying to get help are not covered 44:51 solely by the province, that there's a financial burden on your family? Carrie Sakamoto
44:54 None of the therapies are covered. 44:57 It would be if the program would do what they say they're going to do and take care of the injured. 45:03 That's why it was created in 2021. 45:08 But they failed. 45:10 And the global news report that I was able to be a part of exposed them. 45:16 It brought up a lot of concerning things. 45:18 These are people now that have read our medical files that have said that they are not qualified to be doing that. 45:26 And now when you call, they've told us they've misplaced over 300,000 documents and that they're trying to get them into the files where they belong. 45:40 So for people that have been in this program for the last five years, a lot of people are having to start again. MP Dean Allison
45:48 So, and I'll just, I'll finish with this question is, is that, so is your experience, even though he did receive a small stipend or a small payment, has done nothing to cover your ongoing cost of medicine. 46:01 There's nothing, nothing to cover your ongoing costs for replacing any type of income you may have had that you can't do. 46:08 And not only that, the program has really had you run around. 46:12 I mean, you've had to run around the programs that other people run around in terms of 46:17 loss of documentation, changing what they're thinking or what they're asking for. 46:24 So you may be lucky to receive a small amount, but really the reality is you would say that the program doesn't even come close to trying to help compensate for what you've had to give up. Carrie Sakamoto
46:39 Correct. 46:41 There's more I wanted to say, but I can't remember. 46:43 I'm sorry. MP Dean Allison
46:46 Well, I thank you. 46:46 I just say it again. 46:47 Thank you for sharing your story. Carrie Sakamoto
46:50 Thank you for giving this place, Mr. Allison and Mr. Buckley. 46:55 When you told me this was going to happen, I kind of didn't believe it. 46:58 And then as I saw it coming together and I saw the reaction from the public, which has been mixed, but what I'm taking from this is 47:12 The people that I've met online for five years that we've had to meet in back rooms online and talk secretively just to try and get health care, sharing doctor names so that people can try and get help. 47:29 I'm sorry, I don't remember what I was saying. 47:35 It's gone. MP Dean Allison
47:36 Okay. 47:38 Sure, go ahead, yeah. 47:42 It's obviously been incredibly difficult for our family. Shawn Sakamoto
47:51 And when my wife was in the hospital, they sent her home three days and I took her in the fourth. 47:59 2.30 at night, I was on my knees. 48:02 And I prayed to the Lord, I said, take everything we have. 48:06 But my sons need their mother. 48:10 I should have said take the vote. 48:13 But in the end, I can live and I can't do what I used to do. 48:19 I have to be home every day for my wife. 48:22 Life has kept going on. 48:25 We've had to refinance. 48:28 We've sold, we've sold, we've sold, we've refinanced. 48:31 A banking institution wouldn't touch us. 48:36 Nowhere in the world did they mix vaccinations, and every single manufacturer that we've talked to said they are implicitly told, do not mix. 48:46 We were told you'd get a better reaction if you mixed. 48:50 We were told no one would get left behind. 48:53 We've been run over, backed up, run over again, backed up, run over again. 48:59 We've lost our farm, four businesses, my son, this migraines. 49:06 They're all from these vaccines. 49:08 I had blood clots. 49:10 I had to go get ultrasound for. 49:14 And I couldn't report it to work or a doctor or go. 49:17 We had less than one income. 49:21 We lost the farm. 49:22 We couldn't get a bank to sign a loan or give us. 49:26 I had to go buy a house cash. 49:29 I don't know if anyone understands how hard that is when you have to leave one house and you have nowhere to go. 49:35 Until you can get banks to get the money to enough. 49:38 What our family's gone through while she's suffering and can't get help. 49:47 I don't believe that you're given more than you can handle. 49:49 But I'll tell you, it's tried us. 49:53 And she's so tough. 49:54 And we come from tough stock. 49:58 But she had 14 caseworkers. 50:04 She's on and they still 50:06 Can't help her. 50:08 And the first one, they lost all the tapes on. 50:11 He was so awful to her. 50:12 She was crying. 50:14 He was accused. 50:14 Like, this whole thing has just been a nightmare. 50:18 And I hope that this inquiry or what you're doing here today is a step in the right direction because we're the lucky ones. 50:30 There are so many people and doctors that we know. 50:34 There was a doctor in Lytton. 50:35 He's here today. 50:37 He had a lady who had exactly the same thing as my wife. 50:41 Six weeks ahead, she got the shots because she's First Nations. 50:44 So we were able to contact him and find out. 50:47 I could find out if my wife was going to be alive in six weeks. 50:50 Every week I'd call to see if that lady had gone downhill more. 50:55 And my wife's getting worse, not better. 50:58 Her memory... 51:00 As you can see, try letting the dogs out when it's minus 40 or leaving the stove on and almost having your house burned down a couple dozen times. 51:10 And then see how your wife cries because she's almost burned the house down a couple hundred times. 51:16 Our lives have turned into survival. 51:22 We're still trying to survive and make it through this. Carrie Sakamoto
51:25 It's never ended for us. 51:26 It's been five years since the day I woke up like this. Shawn Sakamoto
51:30 And we're here and we've gone broke and sold and retooled. 51:35 And just when you think you're above it, something else happens. 51:39 So, you know, we're here. 51:41 There's nothing left to take. 51:43 We're here on Visa. 51:44 That's who's sponsoring us. MP Dean Allison
51:48 Well, listen, we want to thank you. 51:50 I'll say it once again. 51:50 We appreciate you opening up your hearts and 51:54 and sharing your stories with us. Carrie Sakamoto
51:56 I just also wanted to share that I've been able to start a class action for the vaccine-injured in Alberta. Shawn Buckley
52:02 So, Kerry, we're going to have to tell other witnesses not to testify unless we cut you off because we've got a tight schedule. 52:09 And we really don't want to do that. Carrie Sakamoto
52:10 That's fine. 52:12 Thank you so much, everybody. Shawn Buckley
52:14 And we apologize to all the witnesses. 52:16 You know, we could have you on for hours, and your story deserves that. 52:20 And we just made a decision early on we want to have more people 52:24 have a chance to speak even if they have less time. Carrie Sakamoto
52:27 There's so much to say when someone's been injured for five years or, you know, there's a lot. Shawn Buckley
52:33 I need to end it. 52:34 Thank you so much. 52:36 Thank you. 52:40 So our next, I'll say witness, but we're going to have two witnesses share a space and you'll understand why that is very quickly. 52:50 So we're going to have Catherine Christensen 52:52 and Michael McNair, and I'm going to swear Catherine in and say a little bit and then swear Mike in and then go back to Catherine. 53:02 There's a Canadian Armed Forces member in the audience that we cannot call as a witness. 53:09 And we cannot call because active members, unless they've been discharged for a period of time, can be court-martialed, to use the civilian terms. 53:20 or actually sharing about being injured in the Forces. 53:25 And we spoke to other Canadian Armed Forces members who couldn't testify for the same reason. 53:34 And then we've spoken to discharged Canadian Armed Forces members who could testify without being court-martialed, but they couldn't testify because they wouldn't 53:48 The experience would be too traumatizing for them. 53:53 The most fragile group that we've run into in interviewing has been the Canadian Armed Forces members. 54:00 And I know, Michael, that this is difficult for you to be sitting here. 54:06 And we're very grateful to have you. 54:08 So, Catherine, can I get you to grab that Bible in your right hand? 54:14 Catherine Christensen, do you swear to tell the truth? 54:17 the whole truth and nothing but the truth, so I hope you got it. Dr. Denis Rancourt
54:20 I do. Shawn Buckley
54:22 So just to introduce Catherine Christensen, she is a barrister and solicitor and the principal of Valour Law in St. Albert, Alberta. 54:31 Her practice is devoted almost exclusively to the representation of Canadian Armed Forces members and veterans before the Veterans Review and Appeal Board, 54:44 before a federal court for judicial reviews, and before the Military Police Complaints Commission. 54:51 So she is here to testify about the experiences of Canadian Armed Forces members and veterans who have suffered injuries following the COVID-19 vaccination and systemic issues that have arisen in handling of those cases. 55:09 And then, Michael, can I get you to take the Bible in your right hand? 55:16 Michael McNair, do you swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, so help you God? MP Dean Allison
55:22 Absolutely. Shawn Buckley
55:25 I will go into more detail after Catherine speaks, and then I'll have you speak and then have both of you answer questions. 55:36 But you were in the Canadian Armed Forces for 11 years, and you were medically released in January of 2025. 55:45 And that's the reason you're able to speak today freely. MP Dean Allison
55:51 Yeah, okay. Shawn Buckley
55:52 So, Catherine, I'm just going to cut you loose because I know you've already decided what you want to say and even have a few slides if necessary. Catherine Christensen
56:04 Thank you. 56:05 Thank you, Mr. Buckley. 56:06 Thank you, Mr. Allison, for holding this inquiry. 56:10 I saw the first announcement and at that point I signed up because I know that I can be a voice for Canadian Forces members and veterans when they can't be a voice for themselves. 56:23 The reason that they cannot testify if they are still serving is they are still under the Queen's regulations and orders and they're also under the National Defence Act. 56:33 Any public statements made by a Canadian Armed Forces member that can be seen as a criticism of the government or military policy, including vaccination requirements and consequences, risk being characterized as conduct prejudicial to good order and discipline. 56:50 That can mean administrative action, career damage, and disciplinary proceedings, including court-martialed. 56:58 Add in chain of command pressure and the fear of medical employment limitations and the result is quite simple. 57:06 Most serving members cannot safely describe what happened to them and I'm here because they cannot be. 57:15 As you have said, my practice is mainly devoted to Canadian Armed Forces members and veterans. 57:22 The cases I will describe are drawn from that work, but I will not be naming any clients. 57:30 It's important for people to know the Canadian Armed Forces members are treated within a closed federal system, the Canadian Forces Health Services. 57:40 A complete medical record is opened on enrollment and kept throughout their service. 57:47 That Canadian Forces Health Information System is centralized and it can detect force-wide trends, injury rates, 57:56 cardiac events, and medical category changes from enrollment to release, and that file is usable across clinics, ships, and deployments. 58:07 Civilian Medicare cannot do that cleanly. 58:11 If post-vaccination injury clustered in the Canadian Armed Forces, the record should show it, but only if they were coded and analyzed. 58:22 This is a young, screened, generally healthy population. 58:27 The healthy soldier effect is real. 58:31 Members supported high-risk civilian settings in Operation Laser. 58:35 You will recall that they went into the nursing homes. 58:39 There were thousands of confirmed COVID-19 cases, yet the serving force mortality remained low. 58:46 To date, I am not aware of a single death from COVID-19 within a member of the Canadian Armed Forces during the pandemic. 58:56 Now hold that baseline in mind when you hear what followed the mass vaccination campaign and the mandate. 59:05 mRNA vaccines carry a documented risk of myocarditis and pericarditis, highest in young males after the second dose. 59:15 Nordic data from Denmark, Sweden, Finland, and Norway showed a higher excess rate risk with Moderna than with Pfizer in males aged 16 to 24. 59:29 In October of 2021, when General Wayne Ayer in 59:34 brought in a mandate in the Canadian Armed Forces, Denmark had already paused Moderna under 18, Sweden for those under 30, and Finland limited it for younger males. 59:48 Those were precautionary decisions based on emerging safety signals, not on a theory. 59:55 The calf is predominantly young adults. 59:58 Large numbers of doses were given, but almost exclusively Moderna. 1:00:05 This is the same demographic that Nordic regulators were already treating with caution while the CAF mandate was being enforced. 1:00:14 Department of National Defence figures released in 2023 state that approximately 241,270 doses were administered. 1:00:30 346 adverse events were reported to CAF providers and 27 were classified as serious. 1:00:38 Most, we are told, were minor and self-resolving. 1:00:42 DND has stated it has no record of members releasing specifically because of a vaccine injury. 1:00:51 That's not what I see. 1:00:53 Clients report serious, persistent cardiac injury, clotting, neurological symptoms, reproductive disruption, digestive tract illness, autoimmune presentations, and fatigue syndromes they attribute to vaccination. 1:01:12 Many described that clinicians would not record a vaccine association. 1:01:17 They had difficulty obtaining a CF-98, which is the form that should be filled out for any type of injury in the calf. 1:01:24 that attributes that condition to a vaccine and release processes framed as mental health or a generic medical unfitness rather than a vaccine injury. 1:01:36 Official counts depend on reporting to a CAF provider and on how that report is later classified. 1:01:44 Underreporting is a recognized pattern when symptoms are novel or delayed or when a member reasonably fears that speaking will end a career. 1:01:55 I'm going to give you three short patterns. 1:02:00 They're not isolated, and I've seen them in non-commissioned members, non-commissioned officers, and in officers. 1:02:08 First, an officer previously well, and in fact, was above the requirement for fitness in the armed forces, developed myocarditis symptoms after the first Pfizer injection. 1:02:22 The MIR or medical unit downplayed them. 1:02:26 The second injection was mandatory. 1:02:28 His symptoms worsened. 1:02:31 A cluster of other conditions that did not exist before the vaccine followed. 1:02:36 It took two and a half years to obtain a proper diagnosis the injury was caused by an mRNA COVID-19 vaccine. 1:02:45 The medical paperwork required years of fighting the CAF system so that he would even have a chance at a Veterans Affairs claim. 1:02:53 He is now being medically released for mental health, not for vaccine injury. 1:03:01 Second, a fully healthy non-commissioned officer developed a severe headache immediately after his first Moderna dose and spent 14 days in a dark room. 1:03:12 He pleaded not to take the second injection. 1:03:16 He was ordered to take it or be released under a less than honourable category. 1:03:22 After the second dose, the headache returned. 1:03:26 He tried to work, collapsed in the snow when he went to start his car unconscious, woke up and managed to crawl back into his house and call 911. 1:03:38 His lungs were so full of blood clots that his oxygen saturation was under 30% and the emergency physicians treating him could not explain how he managed to survive it. 1:03:48 He's now being released because he's on permanent blood thinners and the headaches are unmanageable. 1:03:54 His release condition on his medical record is mental health. 1:04:00 Third, a top Canadian Armed Forces athlete with years of service left had two Moderna injections and that has left him with an incapacitating cardiac injury. 1:04:14 He underwent open heart surgery at a major cardiac hospital and he barely survived it. 1:04:20 He was released on a medical category with no recognition of the cause. 1:04:26 While he was in ICU, his chain of command, he was still serving, his chain of command did not acknowledge that he was even in the hospital. 1:04:35 The moral injury, the belief that the institution would take care of him if he was badly hurt in service, 1:04:42 and then the experience of being left has been as destructive as a physical injury. 1:04:49 He wanted to sit where I am sitting. 1:04:52 The psychological injury made that impossible. 1:04:56 A soldier who would have had no difficulty facing anything on the battlefield has been made into a crippled old man before his time. 1:05:05 Across other files, I see new onset neurological symptoms, severe fatigue, reproductive health disruption, and persistent digestive tract illnesses after vaccination, all with the same documentation fight. 1:05:19 Fords of inquiry were requested after sudden cardiac events or death, which would have been the normal course of action by the Canadian Armed Forces under those circumstances, have been limited, delayed, or medically contested. 1:05:34 Injuries are being absorbed into medical category changes and quiet releases rather than named. 1:05:47 The pattern doesn't stop at the living. 1:05:50 In multiple cases involving Canadian Armed Forces members who died between 2021 and 2024, the Forces and the Department have refused or obstructed release of the deceased member's complete medical file to the executor. 1:06:06 Even where the executor is the legal personal representative and needs that record for cause of death, 1:06:13 to make a vaccine impact assistance program claim, Veterans Affairs benefits, or to support a board of inquiry. 1:06:21 The Privacy Act permits that disclosure to a lawful representative. 1:06:25 It says it is still being refused. 1:06:29 One file makes that cost of refusal concrete. 1:06:32 A healthy soldier in his mid-30s deadlifted 600 pounds at the gym. 1:06:38 Two days later, his wife woke up to him cold beside her. 1:06:43 The autopsy showed cardiac death. 1:06:46 Before the cause of death was known, the Canadian Forces National Investigation Service treated the widow as a murder suspect. 1:06:55 When the medical cause was established, that accusation fell away. 1:06:59 What did not fall away was the institution's refusal to release his medical file to the widow or counsel, despite the Privacy Act allowing it. 1:07:08 She was first made a suspect in her husband's death, 1:07:11 She was then denied the one record that would let her understand what his heart was doing in the days and weeks before he died, including any temporal relationship to vaccination. 1:07:21 An executor in civilian life can ordinarily obtain a deceased medical file. 1:07:28 These families cannot. 1:07:30 The primary evidence sits with the Canadian Forces Health Information Service and is being kept away from the people that the law says can have it. 1:07:44 The Vaccine Injury Support Program, now the Vaccine Impact Assistance Program, is the no-fault scheme with a three-year window for vaccination, injury, or death. 1:07:55 Many members were not even told it existed until the window was closing or closed. 1:08:02 Veterans Affairs claims for vaccine-related conditions are frequently denied or recoded as unrelated to service. 1:08:11 even though the shot was mandated in the course of duty. 1:08:16 So there's two closed doors to any type of compensation. 1:08:20 The CAF will not attribute the injury, and the VIAP then treat the silence as proof that nothing service-related occurred. 1:08:32 These members complied. 1:08:34 They trusted the chain of command. 1:08:36 They accepted a mandated medical intervention on the understanding 1:08:41 that if they were injured, the institution that ordered it would recognize the injury and the care for them and their families. 1:08:50 That promise was not kept. 1:08:53 The physical injury is one wound. 1:08:55 The moral injury is another. 1:08:58 The experience of being discarded by the system they served. 1:09:02 Hierarchy and a culture of obedience make it costly to report a problem that might look like a challenge to their policy. 1:09:10 Medical employment limitations and medical release can swallow that injury without ever having to name the cause. 1:09:17 The same centralized record system that should have produced a transparent force-wide analysis of post-vaccination cardiac events, clotting, neurological presentations, reproductive and gastrointestinal illness, and category changes has not, in the experience of my clients, produced that accounting. 1:09:37 Serving members who have been injured cannot safely speak for themselves. 1:09:41 I ask this committee to examine four things. 1:09:48 First, the gap between the official adverse event accounts and the member experience. 1:09:54 Second, whether the electronic health record has been used or not used to detect safety signals. 1:10:00 Third, handling of boards of inquiry and obstruction of estate access to complete medical records. 1:10:08 And fourth, access to the Vaccine Impact Assistance Program and to Veterans Affairs benefits for those injured while serving under a mandate. 1:10:18 That is the examinations these members cannot demand in their own name. 1:10:23 Thank you. Shawn Buckley
1:10:25 Thank you, Catherine. 1:10:26 Before I open up to questions, I also want Michael to testify and share his story. 1:10:33 Michael, I'll just lead you through your experience, but you're 41 now, and you were a Canadian Armed Forces member for 11 years. 1:10:43 You were in the Army, you were a communications specialist for the 77th Mine Regiment, and you guys basically did the telecommunications for the Department of National Defense. 1:10:55 From a health perspective, you were in extremely good health. 1:10:58 You had to be deployable on the field, which requires a very high level. 1:11:04 You had yearly physicals that you passed with flying colors. 1:11:09 You had to be at a standard of physical ability requiring deployment. 1:11:13 Your unit would train together doing kettlebell workouts, gym training, track lunges, and your work required you to climb towers, 100 to 400 meter towers, 1:11:24 basically daily because you're up there in telecommunications towers. 1:11:28 So you were an extremely fit Canadian Armed Forces Army member. 1:11:34 Can you tell us what happened? Michael McNair
1:11:44 Where's all the ice? 1:11:46 Is it so hot in here that there's no ice? 1:11:53 Thank you. 1:11:54 Sorry. 1:11:55 I apologize. 1:11:57 It helps. 1:12:02 Please don't ask me any questions until after. Shawn Buckley
1:12:05 Oh, I'm sorry. 1:12:08 Did I not swear you in already? 1:12:10 Thank you. Michael McNair
1:12:10 You did. 1:12:11 You did. 1:12:15 Good afternoon, Chair, Mr. Dean Allison and Mr. Shawn Buckley. 1:12:24 I would like to thank everyone for your time. Carrie Sakamoto
1:12:27 Thank you. MP Dean Allison
1:12:46 This is hard. 1:12:46 I can lead you if you want. 1:12:51 No, no, it's okay. Michael McNair
1:12:55 we are all in this together. 1:12:58 We are all just doing our part. Carrie Sakamoto
1:13:24 are two phrases that are no longer echoed in these halls or across this country. 1:13:49 Everyone remembers 1:13:53 this rhetoric. 1:13:56 I remember because I 1:14:28 We'll never forget these emotionally charged phrases. 1:14:43 Look at me. Michael McNair
1:14:46 We all had to hear this every day. Carrie Sakamoto
1:14:54 On every channel. 1:15:00 promoting fear and confusion. Michael McNair
1:15:15 Let me be clear that this fear and confusion has led all of us 1:15:30 down a very dark road. 1:15:45 We are on the edge of a modern Voldemort. Carrie Sakamoto
1:15:54 Look it up. 1:16:02 I am only one of many injured Canadian Armed Forces. Shawn Buckley
1:16:22 Michael, can I lead you a little bit through what happened, just so we can get the details? Michael McNair
1:16:27 I'm almost there. Shawn Buckley
1:16:28 Okay. Michael McNair
1:16:30 I got to get there. 1:16:34 It's a process, is what they tell me. 1:16:40 I've been selected to provide my testimony on my experiences leading up to and after my injuries from these experimental mRNA inoculations. 1:17:10 My name is Michael James McNair and I am a Scottish Ojibwe Canadian. Carrie Sakamoto
1:17:30 I served 11 years in the Canadian Armed Forces for the Royal Canadian Michael McNair
1:17:38 core of signals. 1:17:43 And I had the privilege to wear the 77 line regimental epaulet on my chest. 1:17:55 77 line regiment is considered a high readiness unit. 1:18:01 And we are deployed multiple times throughout the year on domestic 1:18:08 infrastructure, maintenance and repair operations. 1:18:14 We were deployed hundreds of days per year. 1:18:25 When the world was shutting down and the countries were closing their borders, we 1:18:37 We're on Operation Enhanced Forward Presence 2019 to 2020. 1:18:42 I have a combined isolation and quarantine time of 84 days. Carrie Sakamoto
1:19:12 And I have experienced and have witnessed inhumane treatment of people who have had their dignity stripped away. 1:19:30 This was allowed because of fear. 1:19:44 and confusion. Michael McNair
1:19:53 April 23rd, 2001. Carrie Sakamoto
1:20:01 My crew came off of a project. 1:20:07 We were ordered to get in line. Michael McNair
1:20:20 at the base arena, whether we wanted these initial inoculations or not. Carrie Sakamoto
1:20:29 I said yes in fear of not being deployable and losing my position with 77 line regiment. Michael McNair
1:20:52 I and we were not provided any information on if this was a serious causing injury inoculation. 1:21:13 We were only told 1:21:16 that it would be localized discomfort with headaches and possibly body chills. 1:21:33 I was then transferred to CFB Gagetown, Fredericton, New Brunswick, or Mocktoe. 1:21:46 where I was in a position that was supposed to be a slower tempo and closer to my family. 1:22:03 I tried to delay my second inoculation for as long as I could until General Wayne Eyre 1:22:17 mandated an effective end state of November 15th, 2021. 1:22:29 Again, out of fear and confusion and not wanting to put my family into unnecessary 1:22:45 financial distress, I said yes. 1:22:58 I still remember watching this unknown substance be put into my arm. Carrie Sakamoto
1:23:10 My body was shaking. 1:23:18 And my mind was breaking. 1:23:39 This is what I now know as a moral injury. Michael McNair
1:24:05 Two to three weeks later, in the upper left side of my abdomen, I felt a sensation. 1:24:17 But I didn't think much of it because we were extremely busy at work. 1:24:27 Six weeks after this second Moderna inoculation, the week of November 29th, 2001, the pain that I was experiencing Carrie Sakamoto
1:24:56 became unmanageable in the upper left side of my abdomen. Michael McNair
1:25:07 So I went to the base MIR and I was misdiagnosed and sent home with gastrointestinal 1:25:23 I'm not a doctor and I don't know what this is. Carrie Sakamoto
1:25:29 Never had it. Michael McNair
1:25:32 Later that afternoon and night. 1:25:37 I was throwing up yellow stomach bile. 1:25:42 Every 15 to 20 minutes. 1:25:47 Which later turned to a blackish gray color. Carrie Sakamoto
1:25:54 My wife found me in our washroom. MP Dean Allison
1:25:57 She took me to the emergency room. Michael McNair
1:26:24 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, where an MRI found that I had a blood clot forming or formed in my superior mesenteric vein, which extended into my splenic vein and my portal vein. 1:26:54 I'm not a doctor, but I figured it out. 1:27:03 I was discharged seven days later. 1:27:06 And I was told to take blood thinners twice daily. Carrie Sakamoto
1:27:18 This, because of the condition and medication, Michael McNair
1:27:32 triggered my medical file to be flagged. 1:27:40 Breaching my universality terms of service with the military, I became a medical release. 1:28:11 I was provided with a period of retention until my medical release. 1:28:23 And this allowed me time to find out that my condition was not reported 1:28:37 To the AEFI, which is an internal reporting system. 1:28:46 AEFI is the adverse effects following immunization. Carrie Sakamoto
1:28:56 This was three years later. 1:28:59 And they only submitted it. 1:29:06 on my request. Michael McNair
1:29:19 VAC acknowledges that I have PTSD from all of these experiences. 1:29:34 But they 1:29:35 deny my thrombosis claims, saying that these are not service related. Carrie Sakamoto
1:29:53 What I have come to realize is that the only things 1:30:07 necessary for evil to triumph are fear and confusion. Michael McNair
1:30:24 Because then good people will do nothing. 1:30:35 I do not request the governor general. 1:30:42 I demand the governor general to be here. Carrie Sakamoto
1:30:47 And where is our king? 1:31:05 because I know where my king is. 1:31:17 Thank you very much. Shawn Buckley
1:31:25 So, Michael, first of all, I'd like to thank you, because I know in having discussions with you beforehand that 1:31:34 It's a lot for you to come here and actually you shared your story in a fantastic way. MP Dean Allison
1:31:43 And if I can just share something that you taught me. Shawn Buckley
1:31:56 I didn't understand that when you're in the forces, you'll give your life for your fellow soldiers and you guys train together and you 1:32:05 do things together and you're deployed together and there's this trust and you were trying to explain it to me. MP Dean Allison
1:32:17 And I came to understand that one of the hardest parts for you was that system just, you became non-existent. Shawn Buckley
1:32:25 Your commanders didn't acknowledge that you were injured. 1:32:28 The system just basically didn't take care of you. 1:32:33 They broke this 1:32:34 trust that soldiers have. Carrie Sakamoto
1:32:49 So thank you for helping me to understand that. Michael McNair
1:32:56 Catherine, did you have any additional MP Dean Allison
1:33:03 Final comments? Catherine Christensen
1:33:06 My only comment would be is for the Canadian public to understand that the members of the Canadian Armed Forces swear an oath to the King to serve and in that covenant is that they will always be taken care of when something goes wrong and in the COVID 1:33:35 and listening to Senator Johnson this morning, my theory that the Chief of Defence staff knew how dangerous Moderna was and he knew the risks that his troops were going to face for an infection that they were not at risk for was true. 1:33:58 He knew months before he brought in that mandate of the destruction that he had leashed upon 1:34:04 the Canadian Armed Forces. 1:34:07 And unfortunately, with the way that our Canadian system works, he will never face accountability for that. 1:34:15 He is now retired. 1:34:16 He's coming up to a year after his retirement. 1:34:19 After a year of retirement, he is untouchable by the laws of the Canadian Armed Forces. 1:34:29 And I don't believe that I could ever convince a Crown prosecutor 1:34:34 to ever bring criminal charges. 1:34:38 But the blood of many Canadian Armed Forces members and their families rests on his hands, and they rest on the current Chief of Defence staff, because she was a senior commanding officer. 1:34:52 Even the Surgeon General told him not to do this, don't do this to the troops, and was ignored. 1:34:59 His own chief medical officer. 1:35:05 I don't know if we can ever possibly fix this. 1:35:10 I can tell you that the federal court, when this was brought before them, treated it as a joke. 1:35:18 It was funny to them. 1:35:23 And I mean, I'm here because I can tell these stories. 1:35:34 And I would like to tell you that Mike's story is unusual when isolated, but it's not. 1:35:40 I've talked to thousands of members and veterans that are vaccine injured. 1:35:45 I know the stats don't, the official stats don't show the true number. 1:35:51 I have medical doctors who served in the system who know, who are vaccine injured themselves, who were told, do not report this, report it as something else. 1:36:04 It's been a massive cover-up. 1:36:06 So I want to thank you for this inquiry, because the more that it's talked about, the better off we are, because how do we fix the mistakes if we never talk about them? Shawn Buckley
1:36:18 And I'm just going to add, on behalf of Michael, that he was speaking blood thoughts. 1:36:25 He's put on blood thinners for years. 1:36:27 He can no longer afford the blood thinners. 1:36:30 And I just want to publicly state that I'm ashamed 1:36:34 In Canada, we allow veterans that need blood thinners, but we don't pay for them. 1:36:42 I think something needs to be done. MP Dean Allison
1:36:45 And I'll make one final comment. 1:36:47 Catherine, thank you for what you do, representing our armed forces. 1:36:51 And Michael, thank you for your service. 1:36:55 And to all the other Canadian forces that may be in the room, we appreciate the ultimate sacrifice that you've made. 1:37:02 It is a complete 1:37:03 and total slap in the face the way you have been treated and other veterans have been treated and completely unacceptable. 1:37:10 And I guarantee, I wonder how many people watching today would have any clue that this is the way our veterans are being treated. 1:37:18 And we hear stories time and time again of people showing up and not offering help, but offering MAID or whatever it is. 1:37:26 And this is completely and totally unacceptable. 1:37:30 And we have got to break that cycle of silence 1:37:33 That we can't have this conversation if no one knows what's going on. 1:37:38 How do we deal with this issue? 1:37:39 And so thank you for coming. 1:37:42 Thank you for sharing. 1:37:43 And I know how difficult it is. 1:37:45 And I understand based on what you said, what Sean said, how you've been betrayed by the very country that you swore an oath to protect with your life. 1:37:55 So thank you for coming today. Carrie Sakamoto
1:37:58 Thank you. Shawn Buckley
1:38:04 So our next witness is Mr. Kevin Street. 1:38:07 Kevin, can you take the Bible in your right hand? 1:38:13 Kevin Street, do you swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, so help you God? Kevin Street
1:38:21 Yes, I do. Shawn Buckley
1:38:24 And before I begin, I just want to confirm, you've advised me that you're going to speak about injuries. 1:38:30 You did not have COVID before these injuries happened. Kevin Street
1:38:34 No, no, I didn't have COVID. Shawn Buckley
1:38:36 I just did it. 1:38:38 And is that your wife, Andrea, beside you? Kevin Street
1:38:41 It's my rock. Shawn Buckley
1:38:45 Yes. 1:38:46 It's interesting. 1:38:47 I ask people to describe themselves. 1:38:49 And your focus was that you're the father of seven. 1:38:53 And Andrea, he didn't put me up to this. 1:38:55 And he says, my lovely wife, Andrea. 1:39:01 So you're 54. 1:39:02 54. 1:39:04 And prior to being vaccinated, you were managing a wireless wave store and you're basically a mentor and all of that. 1:39:12 Can you describe that and also describe for us how your store was ranked out of 400 in Canada? Kevin Street
1:39:19 Yeah, so I've been a salesman all my life and finally got to a place in my career where I could start mentoring others. 1:39:33 And really kind of bringing it to the next level of how to win being successful in business in today's game. 1:39:43 And obviously with the cell phone business, it's an ever-changing, everyday challenge for everyone, let alone the people that are trying to come up with the programs to entice people to purchase. 1:39:57 And, you know, that was very, very labor-intense. 1:40:01 I often worked 14-hour days. 1:40:04 And often looked forward to when that 14th hour ended and I got home to my family. 1:40:10 And, you know, I was finally, we were at a place in our life where both myself and my wife were, you know, in roles where we kind of worked towards our whole careers to become. 1:40:24 And I had the opportunity to live it for, you know, three or four years of being a successful store. 1:40:31 My store was ranked number two in Canada. 1:40:34 out of over 400 stores. 1:40:37 And I come from an extremely small town of a population of about 13,000 people. 1:40:43 And we were taking on big stores like the East Edmonton Mall and those types of, and of course the big ones around Ottawa as well. 1:40:52 And, you know, I was always a very positive person and always tried to find a way to make it happen. 1:41:00 And 1:41:02 1951 days ago, I started my life over. Shawn Buckley
1:41:07 I took a shot, and I've never been back to work since. 1:41:12 Before you go on, can you describe for us what your health was like before you took the shot? Kevin Street
1:41:18 Yeah, I was a crazy guy. 1:41:19 I enjoyed life. 1:41:20 I liked to play a lot of sports, liked to fish, liked to, you know, get out in the wilderness, and of course, carry my kids around wherever they needed to go. 1:41:29 So, I mean, my health was great. 1:41:31 I'd 1:41:32 I broke my neck a few years back before this accident happened. 1:41:35 But I mean, it was done just through malicious games of playing hockey throughout my life and my neck wore out. 1:41:42 So, you know, it let go. 1:41:44 But after I got that fixed, I went back to work and really dug in. 1:41:49 And that was when we really kind of kicked it up a level and realized that it was time to start making a future for our family and in a position where we could. Shawn Buckley
1:42:00 Can you describe for us your vaccination experience? Kevin Street
1:42:05 Yeah, so it's kind of my wife. 1:42:12 She was, we'll say, suggested to get the shot and what she does, I do. 1:42:19 And we try to do that together. 1:42:20 Unfortunately, this time, I just literally walked out of my business and went down the hallway, took the shot, went back and 1:42:28 And right after I received the shot, I remember looking at the pharmacist and telling him that it was a real whopper and I could feel it and I knew it and it went in my arm and I still have a lump on my arm right there. 1:42:41 I like, I know when he hit me with that, I felt it and I had no fear. 1:42:46 Like I just, you know, I've, I've been through a lot and things like a needle has never really been anything to get me excited, you know, or anything. 1:42:56 And, 1:42:57 I knew right away, I felt it go through my body and he just played it out as nothing. 1:43:03 So I went back to work and that night I started getting the shakes. 1:43:07 And if I'm not mistaken, I think I missed the next three days of work with a nasty flu and then returned to work working a maximum of maybe two to three hours a day in full sweats as I am today. 1:43:23 Again, I have an overactive immune system now. 1:43:26 They say it's in flight mode and it's never settled down. Shawn Buckley
1:43:31 So when you're talking about this sweats, my understanding is this just went on for weeks where you're literally getting soaked. 1:43:38 Like it's not just when you say sweats, we might just think of, you know, when we get too hot and start sweating, but you're describing something different. 1:43:47 Can you just kind of share with us what that was like? Kevin Street
1:43:50 I was soaked. 1:43:51 I was, I would, I would go home and I would have to get out of my clothes right away because they were soaking wet. 1:43:58 And I remember my employees have been feeling for me because, you know, I was always kind of there for them. 1:44:03 And then it kind of turned a little bit where they were like, Kevin, you got to go home. 1:44:08 And, you know, I, I got work to do. 1:44:09 I went home, but I was back the next day and just trying. 1:44:19 And then it, 1:44:21 And two weeks later, it was about after two weeks of that misery, I went home from work and I said to my wife, I go, I just, I can't do it. 1:44:29 And I don't feel right. 1:44:32 Things aren't right. 1:44:34 And I went out to the back deck and I was standing there and having the conversation, just a normal conversation, had my dog in my arm or petting my dog. 1:44:44 And I felt a little strange. 1:44:46 I felt this sensation earlier in the day when I was at work. 1:44:50 And I woke up and my wife was standing on top of me thinking I was fooling around. 1:44:58 I remember it was just like that. 1:45:00 It was just like somebody flicked a light switch. 1:45:02 Everything went out and I dropped. 1:45:05 And when I woke up, I didn't know what happened. 1:45:07 I thought she was, you know, I thought she was kidding. 1:45:09 I thought I was waking up in the morning on the back deck of the house. 1:45:14 And then it just started. 1:45:15 Everything from there was just, it's never been the same. 1:45:18 You know, my brain is messed up. 1:45:19 I've got multiple brain lesions. 1:45:22 I had blood clots. 1:45:24 My legs swelled up. 1:45:26 I had a great big black bruise come out of my leg. 1:45:31 They checked me for deep vein thrombosis. 1:45:34 That's what they were thinking because I had the AstraZeneca shot. 1:45:39 And from that day forward, 1:45:42 I've just, I've been living in a hornet's nest. Shawn Buckley
1:45:45 Can I just slow you down? 1:45:47 Yeah. 1:45:47 My understanding is that you also started getting seizures that day that you blacked out and collapsed. 1:45:52 Can you share about those? 1:45:54 Because my understanding is they went on for about two and a half years. Kevin Street
1:45:57 Yeah, so it started out with the seizure and moving forward from the seizure, from that time, it went into full tremors. 1:46:07 And my tremors was lasting for about two and a half years. 1:46:12 well, I still have them today. 1:46:13 I just don't have what I had before where my whole body was in, in full, full tremors. 1:46:19 And obviously the neurologists and everything were there to witness. 1:46:24 And I still remember the first neurologist that saw me, he just looked at me and he was conversing with his other neurologist because he brought three others in with them. 1:46:33 And, and, and they were saying that it was fascinating. 1:46:37 I'll never forget it. Shawn Buckley
1:46:39 So what, 1:46:41 How much of your body would be experiencing these tremors? 1:46:46 All of it. 1:46:47 So that had to be quite painful and exhausting. Kevin Street
1:46:51 I would go sometimes for an hour and a half, two hours of shaking on the gurney so bad that even the people around me were getting annoyed because, you know, like the wheelchair waiting in... 1:47:04 in the emergency room department, even after assessing me, they'd put me back in there and make me shake in front of everyone. 1:47:10 And it was bad. 1:47:12 It was violent. Shawn Buckley
1:47:14 And you're aware when this is happening. 1:47:17 It's not like a grand mal seizure or something. 1:47:20 No, you're 100% there. 1:47:22 And you have no ability to stop it? Kevin Street
1:47:25 Once it goes, it goes. 1:47:26 And then it's just a matter of letting it ride out until your brain just gets tired and just doesn't do it, I guess, anymore. 1:47:32 And then I just 1:47:34 I got to go to bed and I'm a wreck for, you know, two, three days. 1:47:37 It'll, it'll, uh, it'll mess me up for some, for some reason. 1:47:42 I don't know if it's through protocols that I've done. 1:47:46 I've re you know, I've relieved a lot of my bad tremors, but, um, you know, nerves and things like that often, often play, play mess with your brain. 1:47:58 And when my brain swells, um, nothing works anymore. 1:48:02 You, Shawn Buckley
1:48:04 And you're still today, you spoke about brain lesions. 1:48:07 My understanding is that you have 13 of them. Kevin Street
1:48:11 Yeah, the last MRI result, they didn't do a signature on it, which generally I've found. 1:48:19 I'm not a doctor, but I can tell you that I've learned a lot about this stuff, unfortunately. 1:48:24 And they said that there's no new lesions, but there are multiples that they have found. 1:48:33 And I believe they said it was due to increased permeability of the blood-brain barrier is what was shown. 1:48:44 Okay. 1:48:44 And can you describe for us how you walk today? 1:48:48 Yeah, I walk like I'm drunk all the time. 1:48:50 And, you know, I literally have to tell my body what to do and how to do it every time I do something. 1:48:58 I can't run. 1:48:59 I can't jog. 1:49:01 or anything like that, because I know better not even to attempt to make my brain do that. 1:49:06 But I literally have to tell my feet when to move, what direction to move in, whether I should bend my knee or not, because I don't have any strength in any of my joints anymore. 1:49:17 My elbows, my knees, my ankles, all that stuff. 1:49:21 If I don't pay attention, I'll hurt myself. 1:49:26 I was told not to stay in a wheelchair and that if I continued in the wheelchair, then I would never walk again. 1:49:33 So I've been trying to stay on my feet and keep my brain connected as much as it possibly can and try to be as human as possible. MP Ted Falk
1:49:54 Thanks for your story, Kevin. 1:49:57 You had said you've tried a few protocols that seem to help. 1:50:00 What have you found is helping? Kevin Street
1:50:05 So we tried every protocol. 1:50:08 I think that's been crossed over the table. 1:50:10 Obviously, everything is expensive to do and try. 1:50:14 I did do the Peter McCullough protocol for about a year. 1:50:20 Um, and I use that simply because my blood is in bad shape. 1:50:26 Um, so I did that and we've also found that a lot of frequency, believe it or not, um, seems to help a lot, especially with inflammation and inflammation on my brain. 1:50:40 Um, obviously your brain is one of those places that you can't massage and you can't get at. 1:50:46 And for whatever reason, um, 1:50:49 This technology that we've found, which is PEMF, or pulsed electromagnetic frequency, in the dose that we're taking it in has been helping substantially. 1:51:02 And it removes a lot of the inflammation within my body, especially in my brain. 1:51:08 And when I do that, I can function a lot better. MP Ted Falk
1:51:14 And so you're obviously getting medical attention and medical practitioners are paying attention to you. 1:51:20 Are you satisfied with the help that you're getting? Kevin Street
1:51:22 Well, that's a difficult question. 1:51:25 So the first four weeks of my visits to the emergency room, they kept testing me for methamphetamines and opioids and all kinds of nasty drugs because I was presenting 1:51:42 As obviously an overdose. 1:51:46 It's just it went on and on. 1:51:48 So the initial period where they could have potentially treated me for my condition was literally just being, it was slipping away and my wife knew it. 1:52:00 And she was witnessing it. 1:52:02 And I remember we were at the hospital and I went in to see my family physician after I had seen her in the emergency room and found out that she was testing me for these things, knowing that I'm not that person. 1:52:16 And that was when my wife said to me, we need to go. 1:52:24 We need to go to a different hospital. 1:52:26 We need to go to a major hospital and find 1:52:29 somebody who knows or has at least seen something like this. 1:52:32 So we came to Ottawa and we went to the, uh, Ottawa civic and, and, uh, I was put into a ward with like at least 20, 25 people that were all ill. And these weren't COVID patients, guys. 1:52:46 These were, these were people that were making presentations like myself. 1:52:51 And, uh, that was when I met my first neurologist. 1:52:54 And, uh, and now I have, I've just finally been accepted to a, uh, 1:52:59 a program called KITE, which is supposedly the best in the world for my disability. 1:53:07 They cannot fix my disability. 1:53:09 I'm permanently disabled. 1:53:11 They don't know what or how to do, but all they can offer me are things to try and make me live a little bit easier. 1:53:22 So the unfortunate part about that is these treatments, again, as everyone knows, they're not covered. 1:53:29 So, so we need to figure that out. 1:53:32 And we need to figure out why these things are this way. 1:53:36 I, I have to come up with different. 1:53:43 What's the word I'm looking for? 1:53:46 I need to be diagnosed with other things in order to get certain types of attention. 1:53:52 Hence, 1:53:53 I now have sugar diabetes and with my diabetes, I now have access to some types of therapies because that particular condition will allow you to get access to therapy. 1:54:06 The problem is, guys, is I've been waiting for a phone call from that therapy that they promised me for over two years now. 1:54:12 And I just found out on Twitter. 1:54:16 Less than a week ago, my memory is horrible, but it was one of the days last week where I received a phone call from Toronto again to tell me that, once again, they're not able to fulfill my appointment and we need to rebook again. 1:54:31 So I'm now, well, like I said, what was it, 1,951 days and I haven't received any type of treatment that is directed at my disability. 1:54:42 They did attempt... 1:54:45 a nine-week therapy session that was supposed to be 12, but they removed me from it because I wasn't showing any progress. 1:54:53 And they weren't treating me for the proper condition either. 1:54:56 They were treating me as a stroke patient. MP Dean Allison
1:54:58 Yeah, but so can I just jump in? 1:55:00 Can I ask you, have you applied for the Vaccine Injury Support Program? 1:55:04 And if you have, what has been your experience? Kevin Street
1:55:07 So I've applied twice now. 1:55:10 We're on our second term with them the first time they lost my file. 1:55:16 Not uncommon. 1:55:19 So we've spoken to quite a few different caseworkers along the way, and I'm still part of their program, still waiting. 1:55:26 I'm still another six to 12 months away from getting a decision. 1:55:30 They can predict these things, I guess. 1:55:34 And the reason why is they're still waiting for paperwork to come in from the hospitals that I've visited. MP Dean Allison
1:55:40 When did you originally fill out the original form to get in? 1:55:44 When did you first apply? Kevin Street
1:55:46 So we were extremely proactive right away and we went online to apply. 1:55:50 And when we went online, it said that they're no longer taking applications and that it was closed. 1:55:57 And we thought that was kind of odd. 1:55:59 And then a few weeks later, it reopened and we applied right away. 1:56:03 So I've been in their system for at least four years. 1:56:07 Four years. MP Dean Allison
1:56:08 At least. 1:56:08 Four years. 1:56:09 Yeah, maybe more. 1:56:10 Four years and they lost your file once, twice? 1:56:14 Yeah, twice. 1:56:15 Okay. 1:56:17 That's completely unacceptable. Kevin Street
1:56:18 I really appreciate you sharing that. 1:56:21 Yeah, no, it's it's been that's been a when you have a brain injury like me, guys, I like I can't remember a lot of stuff very well. 1:56:29 And and fortunately, when they mistreat me, I kind of forget about it. 1:56:34 But the end result is, is how are we going to. 1:56:38 I don't even you know, I'm I'm so afraid to even call them and ask them the question of where are we at, you know, because I want I don't want them to take it and go like that. 1:56:49 This guy's a headache. 1:56:50 And then I reached out to my member of parliament and I explained and expressed my concerns about this program and how I've been waiting for so long and that I just can't get any answers. 1:57:03 And then about two days later, I got a response telling me that if my case goes forward and they bring my case to the forefront to question my issues, someone else is going to have to wait longer. 1:57:20 So I'm really just stepping in front of somebody and maybe they know how my heart works and I don't like doing that. 1:57:26 But the fact of the matter is, is we're left here and we're afraid. 1:57:30 And I'm afraid, like I don't, I'm worried about even being here today and somebody that's working my case looks at it and says, let's just push it off. 1:57:40 We'll make them reapply again. Shawn Buckley
1:57:42 Kevin, I'm going to have to actually cut you off just so that the other witnesses get a chance to testify. 1:57:48 Okay. 1:57:49 But what an honor to have you come and share your story with us today. Kevin Street
1:57:54 It's, you know, I made sure I was here. 1:58:01 And if this comes around again and we need more results, then call me up and let's figure it out. Shawn Buckley
1:58:08 It's just been a pleasure. 1:58:09 And Andrea, thank you for coming and supporting your husband. MP Dean Allison
1:58:14 So Myriam Bohemi is going to introduce our next witness. Myriam Bohémier
1:58:36 In 26 years old, you have an undergraduate degree in biochemical sciences. 1:58:41 Do you only swear that you'll say the truth and nothing but the truth? Patrick Provost, translated by Myriam Bohémier
1:59:03 I swear. 1:59:04 Okay. 1:59:05 From the top. 1:59:06 So Professor Povot, you are the father of four children aged 20 to 26 years old. 1:59:11 You have an undergraduate degree in biochemical sciences. 1:59:17 You have another degree in cellular biopathology and a doctorate in medical science. 1:59:24 Is that right? 1:59:26 Yes, that is right. 1:59:27 And you have a postdoc degree, a five-year degree. 1:59:32 Could you remind me what that is on? 1:59:36 In molecular biology from a Swedish institute. 1:59:42 And you were under Professor Bengt Samuelsson, a Nobel Prize winner. 1:59:53 in medicine and physiology. 1:59:56 Yes, that's exact. 1:59:58 You were also a professor at the University of Laval at the medical faculty for 22 years, and you are an expert in the mRNA technology and in nanoparticles. Carrie Sakamoto
2:00:17 Yes. 2:00:22 So, Patrick Provost, translated by Myriam Bohémier
2:00:25 your domains of expertise are the two main components in the mRNA vaccines. 2:00:31 Is that correct? 2:00:32 Yes, I am a specialist in mRNA vaccines and the nanoparticles that were two of the main components in the COVID-19 vaccine injections. 2:00:46 You also penned numerous scientific articles 2:00:53 and have been cited in medical journals and scientific articles. 2:00:59 You have about 10 discoveries under your belt. 2:01:06 So I published hundreds of articles in medical journals or scientific journals that were peer-reviewed at... 2:01:17 Three different occasions I was deemed having done the discovery of the year. 2:01:22 My works have been quoted 18,000 times. 2:01:26 52 of my articles were cited at least 52 times. 2:01:31 And so my record speaks for itself. MP Ted Falk
2:01:34 I had... Patrick Provost, translated by Myriam Bohémier
2:01:41 I am well qualified to talk about COVID vaccines today. 2:01:46 Our expert testimonies 2:01:50 will focus on the 42-day window that is used by public health to consider unwanted effects from vaccines, including COVID-19 vaccines. 2:02:08 Can you tell us about this process within public health and what impact it has on notifying 2:02:23 issues. 2:02:24 So that's part of my personal experience. 2:02:28 I've received my first COVID vaccine in July 2021, and I've noticed different symptoms that I'd never had before. 2:02:39 So it started with pain in my eyes one week after the vaccine, and then I wondered if there was a link with the vaccine. 2:02:48 Then I felt 2:02:52 rash on my arm. 2:02:53 I had a dry cough for weeks and I felt vibrations internally that I couldn't explain. 2:03:05 And then my diabetes was dysregulated in a way that I hadn't seen in 15 years. 2:03:12 So I was concerned. 2:03:16 it was a red flag for me. 2:03:17 I contacted my hormone specialist and rather than help me, he recommended a second dose. 2:03:29 So I talked to my family doctor who was much more empathetic. 2:03:34 I asked if I could be helped. 2:03:39 Doctors didn't know 2:03:42 how to notify impacts of vaccines. 2:03:50 So I'm the one that completed the form and then I sent it to public health. 2:03:57 Then a nurse contacted me a few weeks later to confirm what was in this form. 2:04:05 The nurse said, 2:04:09 that they would only consider one impact, which was the ophthalmic migraines, because that's what happened within 42 days after the vaccine. 2:04:21 Thanks to my expertise and experience, I tried to explain that 42 days does not apply to these 2:04:32 vaccines because this 42-day window is only for traditional vaccines and not mRNA. 2:04:42 And these products can stay in the body for weeks, months, or years. 2:04:54 When you say that this product can persist in the body 2:05:01 So there's a mRNA that is, and also there's the nanolipid particles. 2:05:14 These two components have a long-term impact on the body and on biodistribution. 2:05:24 The authorities could have done a better job 2:05:28 in explaining what those gene injections were. 2:05:31 We call them COVID-19 vaccines. 2:05:34 They're mainly composed of nanoparticles that have mRNA that's modified. 2:05:44 So they talk about mRNA, but 2:05:48 To me, this something that is in the body and will disintegrate, but the one that is modified, which is the one that's in vaccines, it was modified by a process where one of the four nucleotides is modified and it's almost indestructible as a result. 2:06:11 This modified mRNA is 2:06:15 in human bodies for a long time after vaccines. 2:06:23 And I don't agree with the authorities. 2:06:24 When they say that the injection stays in the shoulder and that the mRNA disintegrates in a few days, it's wrong. 2:06:38 Because of the lipid component, it will distribute throughout the body. 2:06:44 That's why we have over 1,200 side effects from vaccinations. 2:06:52 Pfizer itself has noticed those different effects that are due to the modified mRNA. 2:07:05 I'd like to continue my answer. 2:07:10 This can enter in any of our cells 2:07:14 and cause the production of spike proteins for a long-term period, our cells become spike protein producers, which is concerning when we know that this can lead to side effects. 2:07:38 So if I understand well, 2:07:42 mRNA is in a container that's in nanolipid particles that are injected in the body and this vessel can cross the blood-brain barrier in different parts of the body and to go 2:08:05 throughout the body and create that spike protein over and over again. 2:08:11 Is that what you're saying? 2:08:12 Exactly. 2:08:13 The technology was created for genetic therapy or gene therapy. 2:08:20 They were looking for a gene that would not degrade and be distributed as widely as possible in the body. 2:08:33 These characteristics are not what we're looking for in a traditional vaccine. 2:08:41 I need to mention to Canadians that COVID injections are not traditional vaccines. 2:08:49 Traditional vaccines are antiviral. 2:08:54 are stimulating an immune response. 2:08:58 COVID injections are genetic, so they contain a gene that's put in the body. 2:09:06 The only thing that is in common between those two types of vaccines is the fact that they're injected in a shoulder. 2:09:17 So you realize that public health does not consider 2:09:23 side effects beyond 42 days. 2:09:27 You wrote on that topic. 2:09:31 You wrote scientific journal articles. 2:09:38 And you've talked about general side effect declaration or notification. 2:09:49 And that's because that was before COVID. 2:09:52 Can you tell us what the fact that we're only looking at side effects within 42 days and the under notification of side effects beyond 42 days? 2:10:13 So because the virus... 2:10:21 under notification, a study was looking at was done by people in pharmacies and they were noticing those pharmacies were looking at 2:10:50 changes in their pharmacy files so only a quarter of those changes were within the 42 days three quarters of the side effects happened after that 42 days and they're not taken into consideration by public health this study that should be um 2:11:16 done at a larger scale. 2:11:18 Well, it showed that side effects should be multiplied by three or four. 2:11:26 You talked about the Lazarus study that was cited by Senator Johnson previously. 2:11:34 So the unwanted side effects are under declared by 2:11:45 in both in the US and in Canada, well, the official public data should be multiplied by three or 400 so that we have the real, we have a better look at what's happening. 2:12:03 So we need to look into that and take into consideration side effects that occur while the product is still in our bodies 2:12:19 It was also sent a study from Dr. McCullough and other scientists that shows that what's in the vaccine can stay in the body up to three years. 2:12:34 It's very concerning. 2:12:36 That study was just published. 2:12:38 It still needs to be peer reviewed. 2:12:42 There's a patient 2:12:46 that was a subject to different tests. 2:12:51 And they noticed that the vaccine, the spike protein and the vaccine more than three years after the last injections was still in the body. 2:13:05 Public health only looks at the first 42 days 2:13:11 So they can't have a true picture of what's happening. 2:13:16 It raises questions on the use of that technology of the modified mRNA that the industry tries to push forward. 2:13:31 It has several risks associated, and those risks are not considered in the right way. 2:13:43 So I'd like now to talk about your personal experience that is similar with under notification. 2:13:52 On July 7, 2025, almost four years after receiving the vaccine with Pfizer in your case, you have now a stage four colon cancer. 2:14:13 Do you think that there's a link between this diagnosis and the Pfizer vaccine? 2:14:27 We don't know. 2:14:31 My surgeon that removed this cancer from my colon said, 2:14:38 Well, I asked him to check for the spike protein because I suspected that it could be linked to the vaccine. 2:14:49 But he refused to do so. 2:14:58 So I contacted American scientists that analyze biological samples that I gave them. 2:15:09 And they concluded that the cancer was likely caused by the COVID-19 vaccine. 2:15:25 So if we look at how things went in Canada, I asked an analysis to my surgeon who refused to move forward despite my scientific evidence. 2:15:40 points and normally the surgeon should have looked into it deeper and that wasn't the case. 2:15:53 Health professionals are not at ease with that. 2:15:59 When we're asking questions with regards to the vaccine, well, they're not looking at it because those professionals 2:16:10 are humans like us and they've heard that these vaccines were really effective. 2:16:16 So when what they believe is confronted, they don't feel like doing this. 2:16:26 So the American scientists that analyzed your tissues have concluded that there was a 40% of your genome was dysfunctional, right? 2:16:38 So they looked at my genes and 40% of my genes were not well regulated. 2:16:48 Those that were, they were over or under regulated. 2:16:51 They vandalized the gene expression from other victims of the vaccine that had 2:17:04 developed a cancer, and there's a correlation with what's been observed in those other patients. 2:17:10 So there's a correlation that was established. 2:17:14 So the cause needs to be investigated. 2:17:17 It's important to look for the truth, and we're all here for that. 2:17:22 We want to seek the truth. 2:17:25 We need to be open-minded and we need to be free to do so. 2:17:30 And I believe that doctors and health professionals are not able to do so. Carrie Sakamoto
2:17:35 With regards to freedom, you are well known in Quebec. Patrick Provost, translated by Myriam Bohémier
2:17:47 you have launched an alert on COVID vaccination for five to 11 year old children when it was approved in November, 2021. 2:18:00 And you were targeted by Laval University, your employer at the time. 2:18:06 Can you tell us about this? 2:18:12 All this started when I spoke publicly on a risk for 2:18:17 COVID vaccines for children that were five to 11. 2:18:24 Laval University disciplined me. 2:18:27 It was eight weeks suspension without income. 2:18:35 So that was my first ever disciplinary action. 2:18:41 Then I continued to speak on the topic because I wanted to give information 2:18:48 so that people could give informed consent and children should not receive that vaccine because of the risks. 2:18:56 So I continued to speak on the topic and Laval University wanted to shut me out. 2:19:07 And I believe that as a professor at University of Laval, 2:19:19 So I had the highest level of professorship and I had a permanent job. 2:19:31 And these professors should be able to express themselves freely on different issues. 2:19:39 Laval University continued to sanction me. 2:19:44 So for over six months, 2:19:49 And in 2024, I was fired because I shared my expertise and my knowledge to Canadians to inform so that they had better information so that they would have information through media, but also so they could see the other side in media. 2:20:12 It was underestimated by authorities. 2:20:17 The message was not balanced. 2:20:21 I felt that this should be public. 2:20:26 Thank you, Professor Provo. 2:20:28 The MPs can now ask you questions if they have any. MP Dean Allison
2:20:36 Sure, I'll ask a question now. 2:20:38 Do I address you as a professor or doctor? 2:20:40 I'm currently retired. 2:20:43 So I'm a retired full professor. 2:20:45 Listen, I just want to thank you for your testimony. 2:20:48 I think it's so important for people to hear this. 2:20:50 I don't think people understand in this country, if you have a difference of opinion, that you can be punished in a way that costs your job. 2:20:58 I mean, we deal with this in Parliament all the time. 2:21:01 And the reality is, you know, we're trying to talk about free speech or talk about ideas, 2:21:08 You know, some topics you're allowed to talk about, sometimes you aren't. 2:21:11 You're a great example of an expert in their field who's got lived experience, not only the academic, but the actual lived experience. 2:21:21 And yet somehow your opinions don't cut the mustard. 2:21:24 They're not valid. 2:21:26 We don't want to hear them. 2:21:28 And I just want to say thank you. 2:21:30 Thank you for sharing. 2:21:31 Thank you for stepping out. 2:21:34 And I think it's important that Canadians understand that. 2:21:36 You know, in this country we call Canada, you know, how free are we if we are not allowed to debate, not allowed to have conversations, not allowed to talk about difficult subjects, right? 2:21:48 And I feel that, you know, we continue to go down a pathway where we limit debate. 2:21:54 And as the Senator said, you know, we need more talk, right? 2:21:57 We need more talk. 2:21:59 And I think that's, so I love your comments on that. 2:22:02 Effectivement, je vais poursuivre en pratique. Patrick Provost, translated by Myriam Bohémier
2:22:05 I would like to continue on this vein, and in French, if you'd allow me, please. 2:22:09 I did experience these attacks by Laval University. 2:22:14 And we have a Charter of Rights and Freedoms that allows my freedom of expression. 2:22:19 And in Quebec in June 2022, the National Assembly of Quebec adopted a law that protects academic freedom. 2:22:28 And that's even a broader subject because it allows professors to express themselves publicly without the fear of reprisals. 2:22:37 And that 2:22:38 And what happened to me was the exact opposite, as if there was no charter and no law that could protect me. 2:22:45 And yet I spoke out with the best of intentions. 2:22:50 I was looking for a dialogue and debate with people who may have a different opinion to mine. 2:22:56 But Laval University always denied me the possibility of meeting complainants. 2:23:06 I was not allowed to meet with ordinary citizens to explain my point of view and why I had expressed the opinions I had expressed. 2:23:14 So what I was saying went against what the government and the media was putting out there. 2:23:21 And that can, of course, be shocking to ordinary Canadians. 2:23:24 But I was available and I sought to meet with them. 2:23:28 But Laval University chose to weaponize science. 2:23:32 And they brought me into a disciplinary process that was 2:23:36 very heavy handed. 2:23:38 I was given five disciplinary measures that I appealed in front of a mediator. 2:23:47 But this is a very long process with a lot of red tape. 2:23:50 It took several years just to just to assess two of my appeals. 2:24:00 And so I had 2:24:03 reams of paper to support my position and I couldn't defend myself in a process that was unfair. 2:24:09 So I could go on about justice for quite some time. 2:24:18 I think I might leave it at that because I don't want to move away from this particular subject, but this is a dark period that we all went through that we continue to go through now. 2:24:28 And I want to thank you 2:24:31 Mr. Allison, for your courage in convening this event. 2:24:38 We heard Senator Johnson and experts such as myself, and we are there to shine a light where people don't want to look. 2:24:50 And I think this process is important, and I'd like to salute your courage for striking this, for putting this commission together. 2:25:00 Because I think it's important for us to talk, if we want to live together, all together, you can't take vaccine injuries and set them aside and pretend that they don't exist. 2:25:12 COVID injections have risks that are underestimated, that are true risks for population health for the coming years. 2:25:20 So thank you. MP Ted Falk
2:25:26 Thank you, Dr. Provost. 2:25:27 Can I just ask you, first of all, I want to thank you for your voice. 2:25:30 Thank you for your research. 2:25:32 And thank you for being here today. 2:25:33 I think your testimony is important. 2:25:35 And for those of us that also experienced persecution at different levels for being perhaps skeptical or hesitant, your voice means a lot. 2:25:45 So thank you and the sacrifice you made in your career. 2:25:49 But you said that the mRNA was designed to last a long time and to spread throughout the body. 2:25:55 Is there any way to eradicate it? Patrick Provost, translated by Myriam Bohémier
2:25:59 Well, actually, I cannot answer you. 2:26:08 I don't know. 2:26:09 And there is no current research to understand exactly how mRNA works, how it distributes, how it is eliminated from the body. 2:26:26 and which means are available to us to get rid of mRNA. 2:26:32 There is no research on this topic. 2:26:34 So academic research is largely funded by governments. 2:26:42 And so anything that would undermine government discourse is not encouraged in that research. 2:26:49 So it is 2:26:52 An area of research that I had interest in as a professor when I was an employee of Laval University, there were actually volunteers who gave me COVID vaccine vials. 2:27:05 And I had the vials. 2:27:06 I was prepared to analyze them. 2:27:08 And I asked the provincial government to give me other vials. 2:27:14 And I also applied for $100,000 to research and research. 2:27:19 to undertake these analyses, but I was never granted the funds. 2:27:24 And a few weeks after I made this application to the health minister, I was fired. 2:27:30 So there is research that is required to really know what's in the vaccine and how the human body responds, how you can explain adverse effects. 2:27:49 Because the nanoparticles really spread the mRNA throughout your body. 2:27:53 And the product is very stable. 2:27:56 So it is almost indestructible. 2:27:59 And it really makes our body a spike protein producer. 2:28:09 And so I could go on about this for a very long time. 2:28:12 But at any rate, I wanted to thank you for being here at the commissions. 2:28:18 Thank you, Professor Provo. Shawn Buckley
2:28:28 I realize that I forgot to properly introduce Myriam Bohémier, who is a lawyer volunteering with the inquiry. 2:28:35 And Myriam, we will be calling all of the French-speaking witnesses. 2:28:39 And Myriam, we sure appreciate you. 2:28:41 Our next witness is Professor Denis Rancourt, 2:28:49 And Denis, would you prefer to swear or affirm today? 2:28:54 Okay, if you'd take the Bible in your right hand, please. 2:28:58 Denis Rencourt, do you swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, so help you God? Dr. Denis Rancourt
2:29:04 I do, absolutely. Shawn Buckley
2:29:06 Now, I'm going to try and do some brief credit to your credentials. 2:29:13 and then ask you to explain part of them. 2:29:16 But I will advise the inquiry that we've entered Professor Rancourt's CV as Exhibit 8, Rancourt A. 2:29:27 It's 93 pages long. 2:29:32 Professor Rancourt has a Bachelor of Science degree, a Master of Science degree, and a PhD from the University of Toronto. 2:29:39 their degrees in physics. 2:29:40 He has been a Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada International Postdoctoral Candidate in prestigious research laboratories in both France and the Netherlands. 2:29:54 He became a National NSERC University Research Fellow in Canada. 2:30:00 He was a Professor of Physics at the University of Ottawa for 23 years, attaining the highest academic rank of Tenured Full Professor. 2:30:08 As a researcher at the university, he was a researcher in interdisciplinary research. 2:30:14 And that was my question for you is, can you explain for the inquiry what an interdisciplinary researcher is? Dr. Denis Rancourt
2:30:24 Well, it can mean different things in different contexts, but in my case, it means that I'm able to switch fields completely and become a top expert in different fields, but also I'm able to combine fields to analyze a complicated problem. 2:30:38 using different areas of science. 2:30:41 So my interdisciplinary research includes and included physics, obviously, condensed matter physics, nanoparticles in the environment, environmental science in general, biogeochemistry, and more recently, medicine and public health. Shawn Buckley
2:31:00 And we've invited you here and we're very glad to have you here to do a presentation. 2:31:05 And so I'll just invite you to proceed. 2:31:08 Okay. Dr. Denis Rancourt
2:31:09 I just want to make sure that the slides do go up. 2:31:11 Okay, good, because they didn't in the past for some of the others. Shawn Buckley
2:31:16 Well, I think the receiver's over there. 2:31:19 Oh, when I'm clicking, you mean? 2:31:22 Yeah, it'll work if you point it this way. Dr. Denis Rancourt
2:31:24 Okay, I'll try and do it right. 2:31:27 Thank you for having me. 2:31:30 Let me get through some of this. 2:31:31 First, I want to say that 2:31:33 Senator Johnson this morning said three words in particular that really struck me. 2:31:38 He said them authentically and vehemently. 2:31:41 And those three words were, what is true? 2:31:44 He said that loudly. 2:31:46 What he meant was there's a great difficulty in knowing what is, if we can rely on our common sense. 2:31:53 There's a great difficulty in parsing through all this expertise, mumbo-jumbo. 2:31:58 and all the different opinions and all the different things that we see in the various sources of information. 2:32:02 So he was really honestly saying, what is true? 2:32:06 How do you know? 2:32:06 And he shared that he has a staff that helps him figure this out. 2:32:10 And so I want to reassure everyone today that I'm going to be sharing some data that is the most unquestionable. 2:32:20 The states, the modern states, they count births and they count deaths. 2:32:26 And so mortality is one of the most reliable things. 2:32:30 There is an apparatus, a legal and administrative apparatus that counts deaths, who died, how old were they, what sex were they, in which jurisdiction did they die, when did they die, to the day. 2:32:42 And this data is extremely valuable for figuring out what happened to a society during a major event. 2:32:48 And that's the kind of data that I'm analyzing, that I've been analyzing for more than five years now, 2:32:54 And then I will be showing you lots of graphs and lots of data, and I'll guide you through how to look at and how to understand these graphs, but it's mortality data. 2:33:05 And in addition to knowing sex, age, and so on, you can also know about the health status of the person who died. 2:33:11 So it's possible to know that. 2:33:13 In some jurisdictions, you'll even know the vaccination status, but mostly most jurisdictions will not record that regarding attaching it to the death, I mean. 2:33:22 So that's what I'll be showing you. 2:33:23 So it's stuff you can understand. 2:33:26 It's numbers of deaths. 2:33:28 And so here we go. 2:33:31 The background information is on our website, which is correlation-canada.org. 2:33:38 And a recent report that I wrote, an overview report, is entitled Eight Pivotal Facts About COVID Period Excess Mortality. 2:33:46 And you can find it on our website. 2:33:49 And in that report, I lay out eight really central facts that are conclusively known from the data, from this kind of hard data that I was describing. 2:34:01 And today I will concentrate on fact number five from that report, which is that the 2:34:06 a demonstration that the COVID-19 vaccines harmed and killed many people without any reasonable doubt. 2:34:15 So the presentation is divided into two major themes or parts. 2:34:20 The first part is the localized damage to individuals. 2:34:24 So it's vaccine, probably vaccine associated harm directly to individuals. 2:34:29 And the second part of the presentation is about widespread damage in the society 2:34:34 from the various kinds of impositions and mandates and so on. 2:34:40 And that causes death. 2:34:42 And so the overall plan is like this, but I will go through the plan as we march through the presentation, so you don't have to worry about reading it all now. 2:34:50 But I'm going to be covering different aspects of these big themes, including pregnant women who died after the mandate to vaccinate all pregnant women and their children who died nine months later. 2:35:04 their infants. 2:35:06 Toddlers, once we approved vaccines for toddlers, I will show that there was a large upscale of mortality rate to toddlers and such things as that. 2:35:17 So I'm going to be going through each of these one by one. 2:35:21 The sources of the data are national official data sources. 2:35:26 So the CDC in the USA and StatCan in Canada. 2:35:30 Now, these are massive databases that have to be mined and have to be interpreted mathematically in the sense that they have to be put into a form that you can make graphs and so on. 2:35:41 But that is the source. 2:35:42 All of that kind of data, mortality data, is from these sources. 2:35:47 And so we'll start with part one, which is the localized harm to individuals. 2:35:51 And this part one, the sections in part one are as follows. 2:35:55 The first one is going to be a demonstration that COVID-19 vaccines injured and killed. 2:36:02 And so that's the very first one. 2:36:04 And so here is the type of evidence that I will use to demonstrate this. 2:36:11 Detailed autopsy studies, not just autopsies that were done by someone, but detailed scientific studies, peer reviewed. 2:36:19 There have been more than 50 of them that describe autopsies of one or more persons in the group for the study. 2:36:27 That's out there. 2:36:29 These authors are academics, they're scientists, they're not working for, they're usually independent. 2:36:38 And there are 50 of these serious studies where they try to identify the cause and they relate the cause to the vaccination event. 2:36:47 So that's one kind of data. 2:36:49 And you can go through, VARS was mentioned a lot, 39,000 deaths so far in VARS, which is adverse effect monitoring in the United States. 2:36:57 Vaccine injured pathologies are being described in the scientific literature. 2:37:01 Skin and organ biopsies are done. 2:37:03 So you don't have to actually have a dead body. 2:37:06 You can actually take a biopsy and analyze it. 2:37:09 There are universal curated collections of scientific articles about adverse effects. 2:37:15 People don't generally hear this fact, but there's over 4,000, almost 5,000 peer-reviewed scientific studies that describe 2:37:25 the adverse effects from vaccines in different circumstances, jurisdictions, different kinds of COVID-19 vaccines. 2:37:31 I'm talking about just those vaccines. 2:37:35 And then there's people who reanalyze the data that is provided to the government by industry independently. 2:37:43 And finally, it was mentioned this morning, there are the vaccine injury compensation programs in many different countries that have all admitted to 2:37:52 vaccine-caused deaths and injury. 2:37:56 So this is just a small list of the beginning of these 50 autopsy studies. 2:38:02 These are the titles of some of the articles. 2:38:04 So there have been more than 50 of these. 2:38:07 The VARS system for adverse effect counting, there is a legal obligation to report to VARS. 2:38:14 It's often said that it is voluntary. 2:38:17 That's not completely correct. 2:38:20 In fact, 2:38:21 There's a legal document called the letter of authorization that requires that industry report all adverse effects that are reported to it. 2:38:30 So that's the loophole. 2:38:32 And that letter of authorization, which is a legal requirement for the vaccine to be approved, requires that all 2:38:42 Health workers who vaccinate must report events that follow the vaccine, whether they've established that it's directly related to the vaccine or not. 2:38:51 And the loophole there is that they become aware of. 2:38:55 So if they vaccinate, run away and close their eyes, then they may not become aware of it. 2:39:00 But if they were doing follow up or if the patient contacted them with a concern, then they must report it to VARS. 2:39:11 Yes, I can back up. 2:39:12 So more than 200,000 hospitalizations are reported in VARS and so on, right? 2:39:20 Now, this is a screenshot of the curated collections of scientific articles. 2:39:26 This one's called Coverse. 2:39:27 So it's a nonprofit organization that has a system for searching and seeing these scientific articles. 2:39:35 And they work in collaboration with another organization, 2:39:39 non-profit organization that's called React 19, and these are just some of the few, more than 4,000 of these articles in the scientific literature. 2:39:49 So that ends that first section in which I have demonstrated that there can be no doubt scientifically that the vaccines do kill and injure people. 2:39:59 You've got autopsies, you've got adverse effects, and you've got thousands of scientific papers on these adverse effects. 2:40:07 The next topic is pregnant women and their infants. MP Dean Allison
2:40:15 Pregnant women and their infants died. Dr. Denis Rancourt
2:40:18 And early on, several dedicated researchers pointed out that there would be a problem of this type. 2:40:23 This is one of the very first early scientific articles about it. 2:40:27 And recently, a book was written by Thorpe and Farber called Sacrifice that is just 2:40:36 a provocative book, but a very powerful book about how the establishment and the medical people knew that this would be dangerous and could see in their clinics and everywhere how dangerous this was to pregnant women. Myriam Bohémier
2:40:53 And so the types of evidence I will present... Dr. Denis Rancourt
2:42:21 Be a coincidence. 2:42:23 So you vaccinate and you have immediate deaths, a two or threefold increase in deaths. 2:42:29 And so there are these two peaks of death. 2:42:31 The first peak is also coincident with what's something that happened in the US, which was called the vaccine equity rollouts or campaigns, where you specifically went out to all the people who are most vulnerable in the poor states and the poor areas 2:42:45 that had not been vaccinated yet, and you make sure they get vaccinated as quickly as possible. 2:42:50 That was a massive, well-funded campaign in the U.S.
2:43:41 Donc, en bleu foncé, il y a les... 2:43:45 And they count them and they do what's called a 12-month ending sum. 2:43:48 So kind of a rolling average, if you like. 2:43:56 And so the idea there is if you have a plateau Dr. Denis Rancourt
2:44:13 Everything is normal and continuing normally. 2:44:15 And then if you have a rise, an elbow and a rise, that means something has happened. 2:44:20 So that's your signal. 2:44:22 And you can see that the very first month where there is a rise is the... Myriam Bohémier
2:44:27 The first month where we see an increase is the month when they forced pregnant women to get vaccinated, no matter where they were in their pregnancy. 2:44:40 Différents articles ont été rédigés au sujet de ces données, mais les auteurs de ces articles ne faisaient pas de lien avec les vaccins. 2:44:50 Ici, nous voyons les décès des mères décédées en couche, donc de mois en mois. Carrie Sakamoto
2:45:03 Nous avons... Dr. Denis Rancourt
2:45:05 in their first trimester, a lot of them it'll be in their first trimester, you can expect that nine months later, maybe the infants being born will be fragile or will have defects from that vaccination and then will die more frequently. 2:45:21 And that is indeed what we see precisely nine months later. 2:45:24 So this is a graph that shows male and female infants, death rates as a function of time by month, and you see the plus nine month 2:45:32 dateline there, and you can see that the plateau is at a certain level, whether it's male or females, and then steps up to a higher level after you start rolling into the infants that are born after pregnant women were being vaccinated. 2:45:48 So that's very strong evidence of this link. 2:45:52 And now if you look at it by year, on a bi-yearly basis, now we're going to look at 2:45:57 Again, deaths of infants, so less than one year old. 2:46:02 And these deaths mostly occurred very near the pregnancy. 2:46:06 And there's two ways to show them here. 2:46:08 One is all-cause death within one year as a zero-age person. 2:46:16 And the other is very specific coded deaths that are deaths of the infant about pregnancy. 2:46:24 So they call it certain conditions originating in the perinatal period, so near the time of birth. 2:46:32 And what you see, I want you to appreciate this data because what you see is a general trend downwards, but it's a continuous trend without any steps in it. 2:46:41 And then as you get to the bottom of it after 2020, when the pandemic was announced, 2:46:47 That's when you see this rise, this potato. 2:46:50 And you're going to see that in a lot of data that I'm going to show. 2:46:52 You see this rise in the number of infant deaths, the death rate for infants. 2:46:58 And that rise does not occur in 2020 when the pandemic is declared and when supposedly there's COVID going around. 2:47:04 It does not occur in 2021, as you can see there, when you start vaccinating the general population. 2:47:10 It occurs in the year nine months after pregnant women were required to be vaccinated. 2:47:17 That's the rise, and it corresponds to 4000 excess infant deaths in the US between 2022 and 2024. 2:47:26 And if I remember correctly, for women, there were 500 excess pregnancy deaths in the US. 2:47:32 So keep those numbers in mind, because as we move to Canada, because of the population difference, you'd expect maybe 10 times less. 2:47:41 Okay, so that's the infant deaths that we just saw. 2:47:45 And 2:47:46 Now we're going to move to Canada for infant and pregnant women deaths. 2:47:50 And the first slide here is to show that in Canada, in the age-bearing age group between 15 and 44, which is nominally the age-bearing age group, there's a lot of excess deaths as a function of time in Canada for women in those ages. 2:48:08 So you can see on the left there a graph, a light blue curve that is 2:48:14 starts to move up in 2015 when fentanyl became a problem. 2:48:19 Distribution of fentanyl in the country became a problem. 2:48:22 And then immediately when the pandemic is announced in 2020, there's an upshoot of deaths again. 2:48:30 And there's a massive death there. 2:48:32 So in this age group for females, there's 4,000 extra deaths in this period between 2021 and 2024 for women in Canada. 2:48:40 And that is 2:48:44 far more than the COVID assigned deaths, formally officially assigned by the government, which is more like 300 for that entire age group and women. 2:48:55 So this is just to show that women were being subjected to conditions that could cause death or subjected themselves, but there were a lot of deaths happening, so we can expect problems with pregnancies. 2:49:08 And so what happened in Canada was, 2:49:10 the date, unlike in the US, the date at which women were strongly encouraged to be vaccinated was the 28th of May, 2021. 2:49:21 And you can see the evolution of the government assigned directives, if you like. 2:49:26 You started by pregnant women should not be vaccinated all the way up to should be offered the vaccine. 2:49:35 So it's not as aggressive as it was with the CDC. 2:49:39 But this progression, it's important to point out, happened in the absence of any clinical trial on pregnant women. 2:49:45 So this is all just politics. 2:49:48 It's what you think you should be doing kind of thing. 2:49:52 But keep that data in mind because I'm putting it on the graphs here. 2:49:56 So now we've got mortality, pregnancy-related mortality of women who are basically giving birth. 2:50:04 So we know that because 2:50:06 the mortality of everyone, there's a diagnostic that's given and there's a code for that. 2:50:13 And when you pick out that code, you find that in Canada, there were, after the vaccines were strongly recommended to women, there were approximately 10 excess over the norm pregnancy related deaths between 2022 and 2024. 2:50:31 So even proportionally less than what was happening in the US. 2:50:36 the Canadians in terms of causing deaths of women giving birth, but not as severe as what happened in the US. 2:50:44 But if you look at now the infants nine months later, what is their death rate? 2:50:49 In Canada, you see that classic bump that I showed you before in the United States, nothing in 2020, nothing in 2021. 2:50:57 Then in the year of the nine months after the date of recommended vaccination, you have an upshoot 2:51:05 of infant deaths near the pregnancy time, and it corresponds in Canada to 200 excess infant deaths. 2:51:13 And so in Ottawa, that would correspond to six or seven excess deaths, not normally explained deaths that would have happened in Ottawa in that period, and 200 overall of Canada. 2:51:28 In Canada, again, if you now look at abortions, these are induced abortions, 2:51:34 There were 27,000 excess-induced abortions in Canada in the three-year period 2022 to 2024. 2:51:44 A massive amount of excess abortions above what the recent trend line or average, if you like, was. 2:51:53 Now, why is that? 2:51:55 Is it because defects were detected or felt in the fetuses? 2:52:00 Who knows? 2:52:00 But there was a lot more induced abortions. 2:52:06 Okay, I'm going to get to the next section now, which is very heart-wrenching. 2:52:12 This is about toddlers and preschoolers. 2:52:16 And it was mentioned this morning that they vaccinated six-month-year-old children and beyond. 2:52:27 And this had a huge impact that is clearly seen in the mortality. 2:52:30 I'll show you that right now. 2:52:33 This is the data for the USA. 2:52:35 So you can see the usual uneventful trend, historic trend there. 2:52:41 And then you see that rise at the end after 2020. 2:52:45 You've got more than 2,000 excess deaths of toddler plus ages one to four in the USA. 2:52:58 And it's a clear signal. 2:53:00 And it starts to go up in 2021, which is the year of the major financial support cuts in the U.S. 2:53:08 So you have to know that all Western societies gave massive amounts of financial supports to workers and families. 2:53:17 And then they started cutting them. 2:53:19 But in the U.S., they cut them very suddenly. 2:53:22 And 26 of the states just terminated their participation in federal 2:53:27 support programs. 2:53:29 And that has a devastating effect. 2:53:30 You can actually see it to the week near how much it increases deaths in the general population. 2:53:36 Well, that's the increase, that first increase, the green line there is related, we believe, to those financial cuts for one to four-year-olds. 2:53:48 And then when you approve the vaccines for one to four-year-olds, 2:53:53 That date of approval by the FDA was the 17th of June, 2022. 2:53:59 That's when you get the highest amount of these excess deaths. 2:54:03 So we're looking at over 2,000 excess deaths of one to four-year-olds in the U.S. And now I want to move to Canada to see the same kind of data. 2:54:12 And unfortunately, the same thing happened just as horribly in Canada. 2:54:18 So this is the 2:54:20 data for vaccine rollouts. 2:54:22 This is what it looks like when you look at the data. 2:54:24 This is for the province of Quebec that provides very good data. 2:54:27 And so on the left there, you can see the data at which the vaccines were approved in Quebec for six months to four-year-olds. 2:54:35 It's the 14th of July, 2022. 2:54:38 And then you can see the immediate rapid rollout of dose one, followed by dose two right after. 2:54:44 And then somewhat later, you've got the boosters coming in. 2:54:47 And at the same time that they were 2:54:50 You know, these rollouts are like military style. 2:54:52 You approve the vaccine and you immediately have these bursts. 2:54:55 They just go out and vaccinate everyone. 2:54:56 You can see it here in the data. 2:54:58 And at the same time that they were putting out the boosters, they were catching everyone that they hadn't had the dose one yet. 2:55:05 You can see it in the data there. 2:55:06 So this is what these rollouts look like. 2:55:08 They're very sudden. 2:55:09 There's sudden events that you can tie, that you can correlate to see if they associate in time with mortality. 2:55:15 And they do, in fact. 2:55:17 Here's the data for Canada. 2:55:18 So what we see here 2:55:20 is on the left there we have three curves and those three curves are for three different age groups, one to four year olds, five to nine year olds and 10 to 14 year olds. 2:55:28 And each one of them has a sharp rise in mortality and therefore it's an excess mortality in the year at which the vaccine was approved for that age group, okay? 2:55:43 Not before. 2:55:44 So in Canada, the financial support cuts were done more progressively 2:55:50 from late 2020 to early 2022. 2:55:54 So that's the big broad green line there. 2:55:56 That did not affect mortality very significantly. 2:55:58 But as soon as you vaccinated these age groups, and not before, not when there was COVID, not in the first two years of the pandemic, but when you started vaccinating them, that is the signature that you see in the mortality. 2:56:12 It's absolutely stunning. 2:56:14 And beside it, I show that the COVID deaths are nil for these age groups. 2:56:19 very small. 2:56:20 So it's not about COVID. 2:56:23 So we're looking at a total for the one to 14 year olds, we're looking at a total of 410 excess deaths in Canada. 2:56:33 And the final part of the final section of part one is the question of cancer mortality anomalously increasing. 2:56:41 So the term turbo cancer has been used earlier. 2:56:45 And I want to show you some very definitive evidence from hard mortality data that that is indeed the case. 2:56:53 So this is unprecedented data. 2:56:56 And I want to first say before I show the data that the scientific phenomenon of a rapid turbo-like cancer has been well known since 2015. 2:57:09 It is in the scientific literature. 2:57:10 There's more than there's approximately 300 articles about this in the scientific literature. 2:57:16 It's termed hyper progressive disease and they mean cancer, HPD. 2:57:22 And it came into being in 2015 when novel immune therapy drugs were introduced and used on people who had been subjected to particular surgeries and things like that. 2:57:35 So as soon as they started using these novel immune therapy drugs that have just been patented and approved, they had this new phenomenon of very aggressive cancers spread throughout the body that could affect young people or whoever had received this therapy. 2:57:52 So this is a well-known thing that if you mess with the immune system, you can induce rapidly progressive and very aggressive cancers, okay? 2:58:03 And in the COVID-19 vaccine context, it has been termed curbo-cancer, but it's the same kind of phenomenon. 2:58:12 And there is now starting to be in the scientific literature a recognition of this. 2:58:16 This is the title of the first journal article that I could find that has the term in the title. 2:58:24 Clinicians, of course, have been seeing this in their practices for some time and have been reporting it. 2:58:30 And so the type of evidence I'm going to show with regards to this cancer is temporal trends of excess cancer mortality that happened at the same time as COVID rollouts or after COVID rollouts. 2:58:43 And so in the US, there's a lot, here are some of the numbers in red here. 2:58:49 So we're looking at thousands of extra cancer deaths. 2:58:52 And I want to show you the statistical, the data signals that demonstrate this. 2:58:57 So this is the first graph. 2:58:59 in which we're looking at the age group five to 44 year olds, and we see the trend there. 2:59:07 It's a monthly mortality, and we see the historic trend, and then you see a step up to a higher plateau. 2:59:15 That step up to a higher plateau occurs precisely when the huge finance cuts of financial support to Americans were made. 2:59:26 And at the same time, there was this, 2:59:27 vaccine equity surge in rollouts to the poor, then you have, when that happens, you have this more than 4,000 excess cancer deaths, all cancer types included. 2:59:40 If you look at the five to 24 year olds in the United States, you see the characteristic bump that I've been showing you, and you can see it for males and females. 2:59:48 This is a definitive signal. 2:59:50 This is not ambiguous. 2:59:53 So you're looking at 960 extra cancer deaths 2:59:57 in that age group that would not normally have occurred in the United States. 3:00:03 And then you can look at very specific cancer types. 3:00:06 This is a very rare cancer called long bone limb cancer, and it is affecting five to 24 year olds. 3:00:14 And you look at that huge rise. 3:00:17 You have a tripling of the deaths from that cancer in the United States after you have 3:00:26 rolled out the vaccines in the year and after you have rolled out to the vaccines to those ages, you have this huge rise in that very specific kind of cancer. 3:00:36 And so that's definitely a safety signal. 3:00:38 And then the last cancer type that I want to show you is a cancer type called primary multi-site cancer. 3:00:46 So these are deaths from a very special kind of cancer. 3:00:51 This is a cancer where you have 3:00:55 tumors on different organs that are all primary. 3:00:58 In other words, it's not a cancer that progressed naturally and spread where you have a spread from one organ to another or to different parts of the body. 3:01:07 No, this is the spontaneous simultaneous occurrence of tumors of different primacy, of different origin on different organs. 3:01:17 So that's a very specific diagnostic the CDC 3:01:22 regulates how you make that diagnostic and you have to have lab studies and so on. 3:01:26 And there's an increase in those types of cancers that is very significant. 3:01:30 This is the increase shown for the 25 to 44 year olds in the U.S., male and female in different colors there. 3:01:37 And you see that large increase. 3:01:38 So you're looking at 240 excess primary multiple site cancers in the U.S. in the age group 25 to 44. 3:01:52 You see the same kind of cancer shooting up a gap in the most elderly, 75 plus year olds. 3:02:00 So you see male and female, I've circled it there. 3:02:03 You have a sudden break and you have an increase in this type of cancer, which is an unusual type of cancer. 3:02:10 And you've got 1,500 excess deaths in this age group, 75 plus in the US. 3:02:17 So there's similar signals occurring in Canada. 3:02:20 which we're still analyzing and I didn't want to show them yet. 3:02:24 So I want to move on to part two instead. 3:02:26 And part two is general harm, other kinds of assaults and vaccination that definitely caused death to the general population. 3:02:37 And so these are the sections that I will be covering in this part two. 3:02:41 And the first section is Canada's mortality context, just to give kind of a, 3:02:47 mortality crash course here. 3:02:49 This is what happens in Canada. 3:02:51 If you're looking at the 15 to 44 year olds, so age bearing for women, you see that the highest specific cause of death is opioids and fentanyl related accidental poisoning deaths from those substances. 3:03:07 The next one is suicides. 3:03:10 After that, it's car accidents. 3:03:12 And then what has been assigned as COVID is far below for this age group. 3:03:18 For the next age group, 45 to 74-year-olds, all cancer types is definitely the leading cause of death. 3:03:25 The second one is cardiovascular diseases, a particular group of them. 3:03:29 And then COVID-19 is down here. 3:03:32 In the 75-plus-year-olds, cardiac and cancer switch places. 3:03:37 So the first killer is cardiovascular disease, then all cancers together. 3:03:42 And then the third one is dementia, which is rising for this age group. 3:03:47 And then down at the bottom there, you've got various kinds of respiratory diseases that are all related and happen at the same time and so on. 3:03:56 So you've got chronic respiratory diseases, pneumonia, flu-like infections, and COVID-19 all happening down there. 3:04:05 And you have to know that respiratory diseases are the ones, are the diseases that are most obviously affected by stress. 3:04:13 And so you're going to get increases in those when you have stressful events. 3:04:18 Okay, the next section of the second part here is that we looked at factors in Canada that correlate to excess mortality during the COVID period. 3:04:29 This is years of work that I'm trying to condense into a short presentation here. 3:04:32 You have to understand. 3:04:34 So we looked at more than 80 province-specific socioeconomic factors that might correlate to excess death in Canada. 3:04:42 So these factors include poverty, disability, the age structure, the population obesity and so on and so on. 3:04:48 We looked at 80 of them and we did detailed statistical analysis of them. 3:04:52 We did cluster analysis and various things looking for correlations and so on. 3:04:57 And then we can make graphs of the correlation coefficients by age group and by as a function of time and look for the factors that really correlate strongly with excess mortality in Canada. 3:05:12 And one of the factors that really popped out that correlates very strongly is GDP per capita. 3:05:22 The more wealth generation you have in the province, the more excess deaths you have. 3:05:28 Very strong correlation. 3:05:30 So you can see on the graph there, I'm listing British Columbia, I'm going west to east, and you can see the relationship. 3:05:38 So our understanding of this is that when you shut the economy down, 3:05:43 In provinces that have a very vibrant economy, lots of people working, it has a devastating effect on the families of those workers, their elderly and so on, and you get a lot of excess deaths during this period. 3:05:57 That's how we understand that very strong correlation with GDP. 3:06:01 Another strong correlation that we found, we found many, many, but this is just a few examples. 3:06:07 Opioid deaths on the y-axis there, 3:06:10 versus GDP real estate per capita. 3:06:14 In other words, what we found generally throughout the world is where you have poor people living near very wealthy people in the same urban environment, closely mixed, the poor people do very badly. 3:06:29 Their death rates are much higher from all kinds of causes, including opioids, but also many other causes. 3:06:37 Another interesting correlation that we found is this one. 3:06:41 Look at this. 3:06:42 Province to province, the excess mortality corrected for the baseline health of the population, it's called PSCOR, excess mortality, all ages or 85 plus, they're both shown there on the graph, and it's compared to the percent of the hospitals in the province that are considered large hospitals. 3:07:02 So where you have large hospitals, a lot of people died. 3:07:05 Where most of the hospitals are large, 3:07:08 in just as a percentage, a lot of people died. 3:07:12 So this is very clear for Ontario and Quebec. 3:07:16 And this is what it looks like for Quebec. 3:07:19 So at the start of the pandemic, that vertical line indicates the date of the start of the pandemic. 3:07:23 You had a huge peak in excess mortality in Quebec, but it was completely centered in the metropolitan area, right in Laval, right in the center of Montreal. 3:07:33 And there was virtually no excess mortality 3:07:36 in the rest of the population in the entire province. 3:07:41 So that gives you an idea of what was happening in Canada. 3:07:44 Now, I want to show some graphs about the impact of COVID period measures, because this is devastating. 3:07:54 Here's an important graph. 3:07:55 This is excess mortality by week for ages 85 plus year olds. 3:08:04 That's the blue line there. 3:08:07 And then the red line is an index that was developed at Oxford that shows the severity with which you protect your elderly. 3:08:18 So in other words, the intensity of the protection to the elderly, which means lockdowns, isolations, that kind of thing. 3:08:25 So when that severity goes up, when that red line shoots up, like when the pandemic was announced, and then there were two other times there where I put gray lines. 3:08:34 where that severity of lockdowns and so-called protection of the elderly went up. 3:08:39 Then immediately following that rise, you have a large peak in excess deaths of the 85 plus year olds. 3:08:47 And then following that large peak of excess deaths, you have a trough where you go 3:08:53 In other words, there's less deaths than you would normally have expected in normal period. 3:08:58 And that's because you've killed so many people in that first peak that there's less people of that age to die in the weeks that follow. 3:09:06 That's called the dry tinder effect. 3:09:08 And so this is a demonstration. 3:09:10 When you see that kind of an S-shaped curve, it's a demonstration that you really actively were killing people in that peak. 3:09:18 And then there was less of them to die than normal after that. 3:09:21 So this is the result of the devastating measures that we imposed on the elderly in Canada. 3:09:28 And this was done in many, many countries. 3:09:30 Most countries, most Western countries did this and it had this kind of an impact. 3:09:36 And this is to show the impact of cutting the financial aid in Canada. 3:09:40 So there were major programs of financial aid. 3:09:43 They're listed up there in the legend. 3:09:45 And when you cut them, you immediately following that, you have increases in excess mortality. 3:09:50 This is of all ages. 3:09:52 So you can see that even the plateau of mortality is higher after that last large cut in financial funding. 3:09:59 So what we concluded by looking at many jurisdictions is that people, it's worse if you give money, if you give support and you cut it, it's worse than if you had never given it and you'd gotten people to adapt to the difficult circumstances. 3:10:17 And this is to show how important that financial support was. 3:10:21 Actual poverty levels significantly decreased in Canada overall in 2020 and 2021 because of this massive support that was being given. 3:10:30 In the U.S., it was more than a trillion dollars that was given. 3:10:34 In Canada, it was a proportionate amount. 3:10:36 So very generous because they knew they were shutting down the economy, but there were consequences to when you turn it off after you've turned it on. 3:10:47 And finally, I want to show a section that many would consider provocative, but it's the data that we see, and I'm going to report it. 3:10:57 And it's to show that there was an absence of viral disease spread that caused mortality during the COVID period everywhere in the world where we have data. 3:11:06 So we studied this in a very large, detailed article by Hickey, myself, and Linard, in which we looked at 3:11:17 high spatial resolution mortality down to the county level in the US and the same kind of size in all of Europe. 3:11:24 And we tried to understand that. 3:11:26 And what we found is that there was no viral spread causing death, meaning that the spread in mortality was geostatic time evolution, not geotemporal, which means that it's inconsistent 3:11:45 with the accepted theory of how a virus spreads through the respiratory exchange person to person. 3:11:52 It proves that those models are not correct. 3:11:58 So they're not correct because we saw impossible mortality patterns, like impenetrable borders, despite the fact that there was constant exchange and things like that. 3:12:11 So an example of that is comparing 3:12:14 California to the New York area. 3:12:16 The New York area had a large static peak. 3:12:20 So people died intensely here and then died less after they had died. 3:12:24 But it didn't spread. 3:12:26 There was no spreading that happened in New York and nothing happened in California. 3:12:31 They have the same number of poor people. 3:12:33 They have the same number of flights from Asia. 3:12:35 They have the same number of everything. 3:12:37 And you can do detailed theoretical models including all the transport routes the the subways the buses the cars 3:12:45 You can do everything you want, and this is a state-of-the-art report of those calculations by others. 3:12:52 I give the reference there, and it shows that the West Coast and the East Coast, New York and California, should have been affected equally. 3:13:00 If anything, California should have been more affected, and that was not the case. 3:13:04 Same goes for Europe, especially the example of Northern Italy, Milan, and Rome. 3:13:11 Identical. 3:13:12 identical systems, identical types of societies, just as many poor, high-density urban areas, no deaths whatsoever at the beginning of the pandemic in Rome, despite the same number of flights coming in from around the world and so on, big airports and everything, and Milan had that peak. 3:13:28 So this is contrary to all the predictions of the accepted models regarding spread. 3:13:34 So we concluded that there's an absence of viral disease spread. 3:13:39 So that means that 3:13:41 It's possible, it should open your mind to the idea that the whole idea that there was a viral pandemic may be completely wrong. 3:13:50 Maybe something else was happening. 3:13:51 And what we have concluded in our work over many years of research is that, and I want to get to the conclusions now, is that what caused excess mortality is assaults, not a virus. 3:14:08 So economic deprivation, 3:14:12 Closing down the economy, fear propaganda, mandates, measures, public health responses, medical assaults, all of these things. 3:14:19 And the medical assaults include testing, diagnostic bias, imposed facial masking, confinement, isolation, denial of appropriate treatment, mechanical ventilation. 3:14:30 All the things that we've talked about today were medical assaults. 3:14:34 And these are the things that caused the excess mortality, as far as we can tell. 3:14:40 and you have to add vaccination. 3:14:42 Now, vaccination is the only one of these assaults. 3:14:46 COVID-19 mRNA vaccination is the only measure that involved repeatedly injecting into the bodies of everyone, whether you're healthy or not, and including the sick, the elderly, infants, toddlers, preschoolers, pregnant women at any gestation period, repeatedly injecting directly into their bodies 3:15:06 a known cytotoxic substance, because you have to know that those nanoparticles are made with cationic lipids, and cationic lipids are cytotoxic, and the scientific literature on that is absolutely established. 3:15:24 And here is a review article from 2025. 3:15:27 This is a review article of the state of the technology of these cationic lipid nanoparticles, and they're 3:15:36 Their conclusion in the review article is that the fundamental limitation to this technology is toxicity. 3:15:44 And they point out there are no permanently positively charged bilayers forming lipids in nature. 3:15:51 That means that this thing you put in your body, there's no way that your body has mechanisms to combat it because it doesn't exist in nature. 3:16:00 And so that's one of the reasons it's so difficult to get rid of these things. 3:16:05 It's the only measure where you were doing that. 3:16:07 You were injecting toxic substances into bodies. 3:16:11 And so I'm going to read this last slide. 3:16:13 This is the conclusion slide. 3:16:16 Bear with me. 3:16:17 I'm extending from all the research that I've done, and I would conclude in this way. 3:16:23 History will record that the COVID period was in effect a massive and unnecessary multifaceted assault against people 3:16:32 exploiting fear and causing harm, injury and death, especially in the most vulnerable. 3:16:38 All governments under US hegemony and media influence cooperated or imitated. 3:16:44 Canada was no exception. 3:16:46 The vaccines are toxic and caused many deaths and injuries in plain sight of robust national statistics. 3:16:55 Science can never prove causality. 3:16:58 But institutional capture and discipline can always minimize and invalidate screaming safety signals and personal hardship. 3:17:08 And these are the signals I showed you today are screaming safety signals that needed to be acknowledged right away and used to change government and medical establishment behavior. 3:17:21 And it was not. 3:17:22 And that concludes my presentation. Shawn Buckley
3:17:26 Professor Rancourt, 3:17:29 During COVID, it seemed that almost anything could be caused a COVID death. 3:17:37 But with mortality, you can't fake deaths. 3:17:40 So what you're doing is counting the total number of people that die, regardless of the reason they die. Dr. Denis Rancourt
3:17:46 Well, we're doing both. 3:17:48 On the one hand, we are counting deaths in an all-cause mortality scenario, which means that we are 3:17:56 We make ourselves blind to what the medical system says was the cause of death. 3:18:01 So we do that on the one side. 3:18:03 And then we say, well, now let's look at what they said, because they have rules and they're guided by laws and procedures. 3:18:10 So they established causes of death. 3:18:13 Let's look at that. 3:18:14 So they call it the underlying cause of death, the thing that eventually led to the death. 3:18:18 And so we also analyze that mortality. 3:18:21 So I showed some of both and I compared the two as well. Shawn Buckley
3:18:26 Is it the case that like in some political jurisdictions, so let's say a province that's beside another province or a state in the U.S. that's beside another state or a country in Europe that's beside another country, that even though they're absolutely beside each other, they have completely different outcomes, which would suggest that the COVID-19 virus would respect political boundaries? Dr. Denis Rancourt
3:18:49 Yes. 3:18:50 Well, I've been showing that since we did the data because we've studied over 100... 3:18:56 I think over 150 countries so far in detail and by province and down to lower jurisdictions. 3:19:02 And we found many fascinating barriers to vaccines on geography maps. 3:19:09 So for example, East and Western Europe were divided, even though there was constant economic exchange and travel, they were completely divided. 3:19:19 So at a time when Western Europe was experiencing large 3:19:24 peaks in London, Paris, in Italy, and so on, there was virtually, there was absolutely no excess mortality in all of Eastern Europe. 3:19:33 So you can actually draw on the map, you can draw a line, and we do this in our article, we draw a line and we say, there you go, that's impossible. 3:19:42 If you believe the scenario of a spreading virus, that is impossible. Shawn Buckley
3:19:48 And so... A spreading virus causing death. Dr. Denis Rancourt
3:19:51 Yeah, causing death because we are measuring mortality. 3:19:54 That's right. 3:19:54 We're measuring the consequence of it. 3:19:57 The ultimate consequence of the infection. 3:19:59 That's right. 3:20:00 But, you know, why would it cause death in Western Europe and not cause death in Eastern Europe? 3:20:05 You know, it brings up all these questions. 3:20:07 But yes, so we see these strict boundaries. 3:20:10 That's right. 3:20:10 We see them in many places. Shawn Buckley
3:20:12 Now, do you see a correlation then between... 3:20:19 governments, so let's say Eastern Europe might not have been as strict in lockdowns and government actions. 3:20:25 Do you see correlations between government actions and excess mortality? Dr. Denis Rancourt
3:20:30 Yes. 3:20:30 Well, I've gone to speak to scientists and MDs in Eastern Europe, and I can tell you that the culture is different. 3:20:40 And the mistrust of government is different. 3:20:44 And the way of getting around what you're told to do is different. 3:20:48 So there was a lot of things happening that are different. 3:20:51 There was a lot more of false vaccine passports, if you like, and certificates and so on that was happening in Eastern Europe, much, much more. 3:21:03 there are many differences, but did you have a specific idea in mind? Shawn Buckley
3:21:07 Well, I'm just wondering, like, because you were saying with the elderly, you were showing that chart and the red line on that chart was basically showing government interventions. 3:21:17 And it almost seemed paradoxically that the more we protected the elderly, the more we killed them so that the message would be don't isolate them. 3:21:25 Absolutely. 3:21:26 Don't lock them down. 3:21:26 So if you can comment on that. Dr. Denis Rancourt
3:21:28 Well, absolutely. 3:21:28 That's the message. 3:21:29 I mean, and, 3:21:30 It's not just in the hard data, but we also said, okay, let's believe your scenario about how this thing spreads and how it operates. 3:21:40 Let me do the calculation as you would do it and examine if it actually protects the elderly to isolate them and to lock them in. 3:21:50 And we wrote two peer-reviewed articles on this where we take the actual theory of how these things spread 3:22:00 And we show by mathematical calculation that if we were to believe you, your own models predict that if you do this, you'll kill more people than if you don't. 3:22:10 In other words, if you had done nothing according to your own models, which we don't believe because we've got empirical data that disproves them. 3:22:16 But even if we take your models, it shows that this is a worse thing to do. 3:22:22 And the reason it's worse is because when you confine sick elderly people together, 3:22:29 you make sure that they all can get infected and can infect the caregivers and so on. 3:22:35 Whereas traditionally before COVID, you would always take them out of the institution and put them somewhere else. 3:22:42 You would take them out right away. 3:22:44 They were doing the opposite. 3:22:45 So according to their own predictions, you're going to cause way more death that way. 3:22:51 And so I think we showed that mathematically, at least rigorously, 3:22:56 But that was the case. 3:22:57 So even their thinking was crooked. 3:22:59 But yes, our empirical data tells us that if you had done nothing, if you had not responded to this announced pandemic, there would have been no excess mortality. 3:23:17 If you had not tried to save the elderly by isolating them and locking them in, you have to know that isolation kills. 3:23:25 This is unambiguous. 3:23:26 The scientific literature is full. 3:23:28 It's a whole area of research. 3:23:29 They take little mammals and they confine them to not be able to move in a tube for 15 minutes and they can see the physiological impact of that. 3:23:39 Stress is a killer. 3:23:41 Stress is a major killer of animals because the stress response takes all your resources away from your other bodily functions in order to respond to what is stressing you. 3:23:54 And so it's a real killer. 3:23:55 And that is the fundamental reason why men die more than women. 3:23:58 You'll notice on all my graphs that when I have both sexes there, the mortality for men is always much higher. 3:24:06 And that is a universal property, irrespective of the cause of death. 3:24:11 There's only a few examples, which is diseases... 3:24:14 and cancers on female organs, then okay, women will die more of that, obviously. 3:24:18 But generally speaking, mortality of men, mortality rates are much higher across the world, throughout history, and for every condition that you can name as a cause of death. 3:24:31 And the reason for that is that men have testosterone. 3:24:36 Men are hardwired to respond to stress. 3:24:39 And so they respond to stress much more strongly than women. 3:24:42 So their bodily resources are used in that response as opposed to fighting whatever ailments they have and the repairs that they would need in their bodies. 3:24:51 And so there's strong scientific understanding that stress, physiological and biological stress, is the major cause of death of animals, okay? 3:25:06 So you don't have to think in terms of a circulating virus or anything. 3:25:10 If you really want to understand overall mortality and the real cause of death in human societies, you have to think of how we oppress each other and the sources of stress. 3:25:25 And I can tell you that the dominance hierarchy in our society, the fact that you have a boss and he has a boss and the underlings and how they're 3:25:34 underpaid and everything that structure and how it's maintained by constant aggression and oppression is what makes the underlings unhealthy and die sooner there this is unambiguous all the anthropologists know this all the historians know this for some reason the medical people don't want to acknowledge it but so if you start doing this kind of process in a society 3:25:58 where you completely transform the society, where you remove a person's raison d'etre, their place in the world and how they interact with their family members. 3:26:10 You remove all that and you cause all this massive stress for a prolonged period of time, there's going to be a lot of deaths. 3:26:18 So if you want the deaths that we saw during COVID, you just have to do the same thing over again and you will get it again. 3:26:25 And every time you do it, you will get excess deaths in this way. MP Mike Dawson
3:26:30 think we have time for one more intervention mine's not really a question as more of a statement with pregnant women it kind of hit close to home for me my son and daughter-in-law were pregnant and she ended up they ended up forcing vaccine on her through work and she ended up having to have the baby the baby died and she ended up having a baby through the whole process 3:26:58 of naming the baby, the whole, they were 24 years old. 3:27:03 I don't think we talk enough about the mental aspect of what it does to people when you have 22, 24 year olds that lose a baby and have to go through the process of burying a baby. 3:27:16 And that process alone, I think, has a lot of aspects to the mental side of what happens to people with COVID. 3:27:25 These doctors and medical professionals were pushing the vaccines on people, telling them, don't worry about us. 3:27:32 Your baby will be fine. 3:27:33 And the babies, there's a lot of babies out there that don't make it, or a lot of toddlers, for that matter, that don't make it. 3:27:39 And we don't hear enough about those stories. 3:27:41 So I just want to say thank you for coming and testifying today to tell us all the stories and the data behind it. Michael McNair
3:27:48 Thank you. Shawn Buckley
3:27:55 Professor Angkor, we really appreciate you coming and sharing. 3:27:58 And I personally know that it was a lot of work to put this presentation together, and you have a whole team behind you, and you verify everything and go over it. 3:28:09 And what an honor to have you come and present this data. 3:28:11 So we thank you for coming. Dr. Denis Rancourt
3:28:13 My pleasure. 3:28:14 Thank you for this. Shawn Buckley
3:28:18 And our final witness of the day is John Grant, who has come a long way to be here. 3:28:24 In a short period of time, John, welcome to the inquiry. 3:28:28 And you're going to affirm to tell the truth. 3:28:32 So, John Grant, do you promise to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth? 3:28:40 Now, just by way of your personal background, you're 74 years old? John Philip Grant
3:28:47 Yes. Shawn Buckley
3:28:48 And as of August 30th, 3:28:51 You have been married to your wife, Sandra, for 51 years. John Philip Grant
3:28:55 Absolutely. Shawn Buckley
3:28:56 So that's pretty cool. 3:28:57 You've got two boys and two girls and four grandchildren. John Philip Grant
3:29:02 Two boys and one girl and four grandchildren. Shawn Buckley
3:29:06 See, and I can be forgiven for being confused. John Philip Grant
3:29:08 Well, you know, I realize that I'm not the only one to get things mixed up here. Shawn Buckley
3:29:12 Right. 3:29:13 And you've done 40 years in construction. 3:29:16 And at the time of your vaccination, you were basically working full time. 3:29:20 You were fixing out. 3:29:22 fixing up houses to rent. 3:29:24 You had a small sawmill. 3:29:26 You also lived on a rural property and that in itself requires a lot. 3:29:31 You were very physically active. 3:29:33 You also were involved in the Awama club, basically managing 25 to 30 volunteers who were responsible for working with around 125 to 30 kids. 3:29:44 So you had that responsibility. 3:29:47 And, um, 3:29:48 This is interesting. 3:29:50 So you got married in 1975. 3:29:53 Yes. 3:29:54 And since then, before the vaccination, how many times had you been sick? John Philip Grant
3:30:00 I think it was two times where I really got sick than I was in bed. Shawn Buckley
3:30:04 Right. 3:30:04 Like with a cold or flu? John Philip Grant
3:30:05 A cold or flu. 3:30:06 Yeah. 3:30:07 Two times. Shawn Buckley
3:30:08 Okay. 3:30:08 So basically you'd experienced a lot of health. 3:30:11 Tell us about your vaccine experience and what happened after that. John Philip Grant
3:30:18 It was a decision I made because I was involved with young people. 3:30:27 I had spent my whole life from the time I was 17 involved with young people with camps and Sunday school and kids clubs. 3:30:38 So I had spent a lot of time with young people. 3:30:42 And at the time, just 3:30:47 Well, before I got the vaccine, when COVID broke out, we were told, in no uncertain terms, we cannot continue on with the AWANA program. 3:31:02 The Thursday, we had our fun kind with racing cars down the track, and then the next day, we were told we can't have it at AWANA. 3:31:15 It was a very critical time because that's when the kids finished the books and everything. 3:31:20 And being a leader, I was thinking about this one day. 3:31:23 And I said to myself, my heart is really troubled because of what I'm hearing out there. 3:31:33 As soon as I said that, because I'm a Bible-believing guy and I love the Bible, I was reminded of what Jesus said to his disciples on the night that he was betrayed. 3:31:44 let not your heart be troubled. 3:31:46 You believe in God, believe also in me. 3:31:48 And my father saw so many mansions. 3:31:51 If it were not so, I would have told you. 3:31:52 I go to prepare a place for you. 3:31:54 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I'm going to come back again. 3:31:58 So those words were kind of my marching orders to keep me going in spite of the blockages that we had to be able to function with our ministries and just everyday life. 3:32:12 So that was one 3:32:14 One thing that really helped me along, the process of me making the decision to get the vaccine, and I never had a flu vaccine in my whole life, other than the ones that you get for childhood diseases. 3:32:31 I've got all those, but I never had a flu vaccine. 3:32:34 And my wife, being a nurse, she reacted to a flu vaccine one year, so she didn't have to. 3:32:44 By the way, the senator this morning, I don't remember his name, he said something that really resonated with me. 3:32:52 He says, top-line caregivers and nurses are very important. 3:33:05 I'm here today because of those that looked after me, but because my wife was a nurse. 3:33:12 And she recognized things. 3:33:15 Well, I made the decision to get the vaccine because I wanted to honor the government because the Bible says we should honor the government, those who are in authority over us. 3:33:29 So I decided to get it. 3:33:32 And we did it together. 3:33:33 My wife and I, we went down, we got the first shot. 3:33:37 Then a while later, I got the second shot. Michael McNair
3:33:41 Within two weeks, John Philip Grant
3:33:47 It was the Monday that I did some sawing with my sawmill with my nephew and really enjoyed it. 3:33:55 But anybody that's done anything with logs, you know what happens when your bare arms just fall out and you're gonna scrape your arms and just nothing really spectacular. 3:34:08 The next day, my wife and I go and visit my daughter and the grandchildren and I have one nostril bleeding. 3:34:18 It was off and on all day. 3:34:22 On our way home, we stopped by to go for lunch, and I needed to tie up my shoes, and my wife took a look at my legs, and she says, you've got petechiae on there. 3:34:32 It's broken vessels on your leg. 3:34:35 She said, you're going to have to get that checked. 3:34:38 I came home that night after we went out for supper, and in the course of the evening, I said, Sandra, 3:34:46 Look at my mouth. 3:34:47 My mouth is bleeding. 3:34:50 She says, you better get to the hospital. 3:34:53 So we're only 10 minutes away, so away I went. 3:34:57 I get in there, and immediately they give me a blood test. 3:35:02 The blood tests show that my blood platelets are sitting at four. Shawn Buckley
3:35:10 What are they supposed to be? John Philip Grant
3:35:14 My baseline is about 154, but it's anywhere from 150 to 400, depending on the person. 3:35:21 So I was basically bleeding to death. 3:35:28 The doctor on call at the Westlock Health Care Center contacted the top hematologist in the University of Edmonton, 3:35:42 Dr. Sawyer, and he says, get this guy on steroids. 3:35:51 The next day, I went and saw my home doctor, Dr. Cuomo, and he says, we got to get you into that clinic. 3:36:01 And so I ended up going to the clinic at 9 o'clock in the morning, 3:36:11 He took one look at my blood work and said, we got to get you into the hospital here. 3:36:21 Well, that was 9 o'clock in the morning, and he tried from his clinic. 3:36:25 Finally, he says, if I can't get you in from the clinic, you got to go to the emergency. Michael McNair
3:36:34 It was until 9 o'clock that night that they found me a room. Carrie Sakamoto
3:36:42 The next day, my daughter came in to see me. 3:36:58 My platelets had gone down to zero. 3:37:11 I didn't know John Philip Grant
3:37:13 I was going to live because I'd done enough research on it to say this is very important to have your blood to be able to clot. 3:37:28 Something else happened the next couple of days because I was really hanging on to that verse about Jesus coming back again. 3:37:41 Maybe I was going to be going seeing him sooner than I want because I love being a husband. Michael McNair
3:37:49 I love being a dad and a grandpa. 3:37:55 And I had a good friend came and saw me. John Philip Grant
3:38:02 That's another interesting thing. 3:38:04 You find out who your real friends are when you're in hospital. 3:38:08 Ones that come and visit you or ones that give you a call or text you. 3:38:11 Why, that's important. 3:38:14 He dropped off a book. 3:38:16 It's a book from an old theologian. Michael McNair
3:38:19 Spurgeon. 3:38:23 And he identified a verse in Hebrews. John Philip Grant
3:38:28 It says, let us come boldly unto the throne of grace in prayer so that you may obtain mercy and grace to help in time of need. 3:38:41 And the verse before that, it says, we have an advocate. 3:38:44 We have a Savior who knows what we are going through. 3:38:55 So I remember speaking to the Lord. 3:39:00 Lord, I come into your presence. 3:39:03 I don't have anything here. 3:39:04 I'm empty-handed. 3:39:08 You know, there's somebody else in the throne room. 3:39:10 That's Jesus Christ. 3:39:14 And Jesus Christ says, hey, dad, John belongs to me. 3:39:20 He put his faith and trust in me when he was five years old. 3:39:23 He belongs to me. 3:39:25 And you know what happens? 3:39:27 That great God, he gets up and he puts his arms around you. 3:39:32 And spiritually, I got a spiritual hug from my father in heaven. 3:39:45 Well, I was on a healing process. 3:39:50 I was carried through many times. 3:39:51 Many times I returned to that chapter and that verse. 3:39:57 It took me until October to get my platelets back up to 150. Shawn Buckley
3:40:03 Can I slow you down? 3:40:04 Because my understanding also is you had what you described to me as blood blisters. 3:40:10 Can you tell us about that? John Philip Grant
3:40:11 What was that again? Shawn Buckley
3:40:12 Blood blisters. 3:40:12 Blood blisters. John Philip Grant
3:40:15 Oh, blood blisters. Shawn Buckley
3:40:17 Yeah, the blood blisters. 3:40:19 Can you share about that? John Philip Grant
3:40:21 Oh, I had it in my mouth. 3:40:23 Oh, I would tell you about my arms being scraped. 3:40:28 Show the picture of my arms. 3:40:30 There. 3:40:31 That's what broke out onto my arms because any little broken skin was oozing blood and it would dry. 3:40:41 And I had that over my whole body. 3:40:43 Show the one on my face. 3:40:44 Not that everybody wants to see my face. 3:40:46 This was in my mouth. MP Dean Allison
3:40:52 So what's happening here? 3:40:53 We see spots all over. John Philip Grant
3:40:55 That's blood oozing out of my every orifice and every broken piece of my skin. 3:41:00 I had it all over my body. 3:41:02 The hematologist, Dr. Sawyer, had three or four interns who were studying to be hematologists. 3:41:11 And one was Dr. Wong, who was kind of leading it. 3:41:14 And she said, we have never seen anything like that before. Shawn Buckley
3:41:18 So let's go back to the first one, David, the legs. 3:41:21 So you were describing what you call... Patiki. 3:41:24 Right. 3:41:24 And this is what you're talking about. 3:41:27 So your legs don't normally look like this. 3:41:29 This is all basically blood vessels. 3:41:31 Yeah. John Philip Grant
3:41:32 And it was over my whole body. Shawn Buckley
3:41:34 Okay. 3:41:35 So then, David, go to the one of his tongue. 3:41:39 So we don't really see it that well in the picture, but there's actually... 3:41:44 big blisters of blood in the back of your throat. John Philip Grant
3:41:47 Yeah, all my gums were bleeding, my tongue, and basically I was bleeding from in my urine, my blood, my nose. 3:42:02 The only place I wasn't bleeding out was with my ears, thankfully. 3:42:07 But it was very uncomfortable laying in bed there because if I moved too hard, these blood 3:42:15 Things would break off. Shawn Buckley
3:42:18 You also had an experience in the hospital where you had to go to the bathroom. 3:42:21 Can you share with us what happened? John Philip Grant
3:42:23 What? Shawn Buckley
3:42:24 You had to go to the bathroom and something. John Philip Grant
3:42:27 Well, that was the next chapter. 3:42:30 Okay. 3:42:32 Because after I went through all this and I spent just about a year getting back together, it also put me into type 2 diabetes. 3:42:41 I was on insulin. 3:42:44 I was wore out with the medications that I was on. 3:42:48 Oh, by the way, I had to go in for IV meds every week for four weeks after I was let out of the hospital for some more drugs. 3:43:00 Well, I finally got not too bad and I was doing pretty good and got saw and lumber again and I built a shed and I was doing pretty good. 3:43:10 Then in February, Michael McNair
3:43:16 I started losing breath. 3:43:18 And you know, it was in church. 3:43:21 I couldn't sing because I kept on running out of breath. John Philip Grant
3:43:26 I phoned my doctor the next day. 3:43:28 He took me right away. 3:43:30 And he says, I don't know what's going on. 3:43:34 He listened to my heart. 3:43:34 But he says, I'm going to send you in for a blood test and an x-ray. 3:43:46 And so I didn't make it in on Monday. 3:43:49 It was late in the day. 3:43:50 So Tuesday, I'm sitting at home waiting, kind of gathering up my strength to go to the appointment. 3:44:00 And Sandra had gone in to go visit my grandkids. 3:44:04 And she gets about 20 minutes old. 3:44:05 She says, no, I think I better go back and look after John. 3:44:10 She came back in and she says, 3:44:12 As soon as we get the blood test done, I'm taking you to emergency. 3:44:17 So we got the blood test done and got the x-ray done. 3:44:20 And she walks over to the emergency and says, my husband is out of breath and he's got chest pains. 3:44:26 Those are two things that will trigger the emergency people right away. 3:44:32 My doctor had already seen that blood work. 3:44:38 And he saw that there was an enzyme given off from my heart because I got problems with my heart or my lungs. 3:44:45 And they ordered a scan of my lungs. 3:44:48 And it turns out that I got blood clots in my lungs. Carrie Sakamoto
3:44:54 So I had the complete opposite. Michael McNair
3:45:01 Now, I think the reference shown to that, John Philip Grant
3:45:06 peeing was actually from the other one i was thinking it was this one there when i was in the hospital the first time i spent by the way i spent 12 days in the hospital that time i had blood in my urine and one time i couldn't pee i says oh no that's the worst thing feeling you can have when your bladder is full and you can't pee it let off it had been blood clots and i spread pee and urine all over the bathroom 3:45:36 It was a gross sight, but it just told me just how devastating my whole system was. Shawn Buckley
3:45:44 And you actually meant blood and urine because you're bloody. John Philip Grant
3:45:47 What's that? Shawn Buckley
3:45:48 It was bloody. John Philip Grant
3:45:49 It was red. 3:45:50 Very red. Shawn Buckley
3:45:50 Yeah. 3:45:51 So this, um, you were diagnosed the first time with the low blood clot. 3:45:58 I don't want to say the medical term because I will miss her now. John Philip Grant
3:46:00 Yeah. 3:46:00 It's ITP. Shawn Buckley
3:46:02 Yeah. 3:46:02 So, um, 3:46:04 And then it's quite common for people that have that to then rebound the other way and get deep vein thrombosis. John Philip Grant
3:46:10 That's what Dr. Wong, my special... Now, Dr. Wong took me on as a patient after I got out of hospital because she had completed her internship. 3:46:19 And she asked, do you want me to keep you as a patient? 3:46:21 I said, yeah, I'd like that. 3:46:22 And she was very good at making sure she was following me up. 3:46:26 And so we went through that healing process. 3:46:31 And so she... 3:46:33 When I came down with this, well, there's two things, deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embola. 3:46:40 I had a leg that was bothering me and it swelled up and I had blood clots in my leg that moved up to my lungs. Shawn Buckley
3:46:48 And I'm just going to move us along because we're getting short on time. 3:46:52 But basically, the blood clots in your lungs cause scarring and permanent damage. John Philip Grant
3:46:57 As far as we know, there's a certain amount of scar tissue there so that I don't have the same capacity that I had before. 3:47:05 I sometimes run out of breath. Shawn Buckley
3:47:08 And that's basically limited your lifestyle, including requiring you to sell your 3:47:14 rural property in the town. John Philip Grant
3:47:15 Well, we had been talking about it because of our age, but when I got sick the second time, and I got behind on my maintenance of my rental properties, and I got rid of one of them, and I says to Sandra, I think we've got to sell this last one, but we've got to get ready to sell the acreage. 3:47:33 That acreage had a shop that was 32 by 30, two stories high. 3:47:42 We had garden spots. 3:47:44 I had sheep running just about every summer, keeping the grass down. 3:47:51 I had a beautiful three-story playhouse for the kids that I built. 3:47:57 I remember them telling them that we're going to sell the place and they came out and they spent their time playing on that playhouse. 3:48:07 So we ended up selling the place and buying a house in town, but it took us the whole winter for me to move all my junk. 3:48:15 When you're 40 years in construction and 27 years in the same garage, some of you guys know what I'm talking about. 3:48:22 So I moved it over to a little acreage that we had still attached to our property with different title. 3:48:28 And in the spring, we we moved in the fall and in the spring we sold the acreage. Michael McNair
3:48:36 And so now I've been dealing with. 3:48:40 First of all, I could work for an hour. 3:48:44 Then I'd have to lie down. John Philip Grant
3:48:47 And then I could do an hour and a half. 3:48:50 And it's been a long, slow process getting up so I could. 3:48:54 I used to work 10, 12 hours a day. 3:48:57 And as I got older, I said, well, I don't need to really do that. 3:49:00 I can limit it to eight hours a day. 3:49:05 Well, I haven't been able to work eight hours for a long time. 3:49:09 I love working. 3:49:10 I love building. 3:49:12 I love hunting and fishing and canoeing and things like that. 3:49:18 There's one area of the Athabasca River that I haven't canoed. 3:49:24 I've gone from the Athabasca Falls into Athabasca or into Jasper, but I haven't gone from Jasper to Hinton. 3:49:31 I've done Hinton all the way up to Vega Ferry on different canoe trips that I've had. 3:49:37 I don't know how to do it. 3:49:39 So... 3:49:41 Certain things have changed. Shawn Buckley
3:49:43 Just going to ask you one last question. 3:49:44 Why is it important to share your story? John Philip Grant
3:49:47 Why is it important for what? Shawn Buckley
3:49:48 To share your story here. John Philip Grant
3:49:53 Two things. 3:49:55 I hope I've communicated to you what I've gone through. 3:49:58 But also I wanted to make sure you understand of how I've dealt with this onslaught of my body. 3:50:07 I have found... 3:50:09 great strength and great power in relying upon those two verses i shared with you and i've heard fellow people who suffered they don't have any hope and i believe the greatest hope that we can have is when we can go into the very presence of god as he says come and boldly into the throne of grace in prayer 3:50:36 so that you can obtain mercy and grace in a time of need. 3:50:39 What's mercy? 3:50:40 It's not getting what you deserve, and grace is a great big gift. 3:50:45 And I've had to adjust something in my thinking. 3:50:48 All the people who made the decisions to force us to have those vaccines, I had to come to a point where I have to say, I forgive them. 3:51:03 Because when I stand in God's presence, 3:51:06 I'm before God who is righteous, and he knows right from wrong. 3:51:12 And this is the warning of any of you people who listen to this. 3:51:20 You're going to stand before God someday. 3:51:24 Every single last one of us are going to stand before God. 3:51:28 And if you don't have a lawyer, I mean, lawyer as in Jesus Christ, 3:51:37 all the bank accounts, your other cronies, your government protection, the bodies that you have around you, you're going to stand there as an individual. 3:51:50 And dear friends, if you were from the government or from the pharmaceutical companies and you've made those decisions knowing that you're lying, if you don't have Jesus Christ as an advocate, 3:52:04 You've got a hammer down there. 3:52:07 What do you call it? 3:52:08 Lift it up. 3:52:11 When God takes the paddle and he brings that down, if you don't have Jesus Christ on your side, it's going to be guilty. 3:52:24 The only hope that we have ultimately to see this COVID charade finished 3:52:34 is that we start believing in the Lord Jesus Christ, who is going to be our advocate, who is going to give us the ability to carry on. 3:52:45 And that's what I have to share. 3:52:46 That's what I wanted to share. MP Dean Allison
3:52:50 John, we want to thank you very much for sharing your story today. 3:52:54 Thank you for coming. 3:52:55 And we want to thank all the witnesses that came today to share their various stories. 3:53:00 experiences. 3:53:01 And so thank you once again. John Philip Grant
3:53:02 Thank you, Mr. Elson, for putting this on because it came as the last minute for me to get down here and I was glad I was able to do it. MP Dean Allison
3:53:09 Thank you for making the effort to come all that way. 3:53:11 Thanks. Shawn Buckley
3:53:24 So we're going to commence tomorrow at 8.30. 3:53:28 We're not done yet. 3:53:30 chairperson will say some parting words but this last witness really was last minute because we had some people drop out because for medical reasons they just simply could not travel and in the coming days we're going to be pretty heavy on vaccine injured people and many of them are suffering to get here we had one that had to leave today so we just ask I guess I'm just 3:53:58 stating that because it's the fact and to say that, you know, we really feel honoured just the efforts they're taking and to hear their stories. 3:54:05 So come back tomorrow, you'll be changed again. MP Dean Allison
3:54:10 Yeah, and I'll just end with, I want to thank my colleagues that showed up today to hear the stories and to all those that testified or were in the gallery to participate or show support. 3:54:21 We appreciate everyone being here and then of course to all our media friends that are here as well. 3:54:27 So thank you for 3:54:28 talking about people's stories that should be heard and should be told. 3:54:32 So with that, we're going to end the meeting, and we'll see you tomorrow morning at 8.30.
